Astrolabos chapter- side act: An Oceanid’s vision

A commission from Fontaine was recently handed over to

Mondstadt Adventurer’s guild;

It is a research and experiment about the Hydro Vision and the Oceanid,

and the potential if the two are combined.

Mona was specifically requested to conduct this research because of her specialty in Hydromancy. There was no hesitation when she accepted the commission, not only the payment is generous, the client also included valuable samples: an unstable vision, and a dormant cleansing heart, which she can both keep after submitting her findings. The first hand experience and knowledge from this research is also a benefit for her, this can actually expand the usage for her Hydro vision.

However, the commission is not demanding anything else other than the data which was a bit suspicious if anything, but Mona, being the prideful that she is “It would be not be fair for a generous work to only give a half baked result, might as well take this a step further.”

Preparation

Some history about the oceanid was needed for reference, so Mona consulted an old acquaintance of it, Old Finch, though there was not much helpful information he could provide, the old man offered her a place to stay in Springvale instead. An excellent opportunity, because staying near the current Oceanid’s residence might alarm Rhodeia of the experiment, so Stone Gate and Dawn Winery is out of the question. In addition, the water in Springvale is just as good as the current residence of the oceanid, so this is indeed a perfect place to conduct the hydro research.

The experiment

The research started as soon as everything is prepared. A water tub and the main samples, slime condensates were also prepared just for the sake of extra sampling. In total, Mona has all available known hydro subjects for this experiment.

It didn’t take much effort to get some progress,

“Awakening the oceanid’s heart is indeed possible, and quite simple, with a vision’s essence, even without a will, it assimilates to the closest living being, then the closest organic substance.”

Things escalated quickly, Mona’s pride got a bit of herself with how the experiment is progressing, “as expected of me and my hydromancy, infusing my technique to natural hydro components is meant to be amazing.” There is now a slime-looking blob growing in her table, she wanted to observe this more so she moved it to the floor to avoid breaking her table.

For the next step, she tried controlling the blob towards her, which it did.

Next, Mona attempts to manipulate the blob to have arms, no surprises it also succeeded, though it looks more like tentacles.

Before Mona realizes it, the hydro blob is no longer In her control, add the fact that the vision used for the experiment was unstable, the tentacles are now wrapping around her,

“ah… I probably messed up by a bit”

Due to the Oceanid’s instinct, it assimilates a living being, and this includes her.

The tentacles are now tightly wrapping her entire body, her arms and legs were grabbed backwards while slowly being swallowed by the hydro blob.

Not long after, Mona’s entire body is almost completely swallowed, with only her head and the surface of her body outside. Her limbs are pulled deep within the blob, so tightly held that it’s getting numb.

“I.. can’t.. move, How could this happen”

More tentacles were appearing, but this time it’s slowly crawling on her exposed body..

“wha.. what is it now… ”

She exclaimed as she noticed that the blob suddenly feels completely different,

her clothes is melting and the tentacles are going all over her, from within the blob, to the now exposed areas, it’s as if looking for something.

The tentacles, roughly as thick as her arms, are penetrating both of her holes “it hurts….”

Mona woke up feeling numb, it took some time before remembering what happened. She was lying in floor all wet and now completely different, looking at her body in disbelief.

Mona almost completely lost her humanoid appearance, remaining only her head and the upper part of her body human, her arms are now fins, her legs are gone and is now a fish tail similar to the fish you can find in the waters.

in simple description, she is now a mermaid, despite her looking more like a skin colored fish with a human head and breasts.

Mona can hardly move yet due to the heavy changes in her body, but as time passed the numbness slowly goes away.

Her body is gradually changing colors, it is likely because her clothes were absorbed too, but her now scales are changing to violet.

“Mona, are you there?” Old Finch called out.

Mona who was still to weak to even answer “…. ugh”

“We’re worried, it’s been a week since you last came out, I’m coming in”

“!!!” Mona can not even move, all she could do is wait in panic

The old man is staring at the fish lying on the floor

Old Finch quickly looked if there are other people nearby and proceeded to lock the house. He quickly returned and helped Mona take a “sit” in the nearest sofa.

The old man was just staring intently on Mona’s fish body.

Mona is trying to keep herself in “sitting” position but her body doesn’t allow to, she no longer have hips to sit, She is mainly “sitting” with her upper body.

The position also exposes her private parts even more, this makes Mona ashamed and tries to hide her face with her arm fins .

“Well then, I assume this is still part of your experiment, I’ll return before evening to assist you back in your house, I don’t think you can walk in that form” Old Finch said as he prepared to leave, “oh don’t worry about other people seeing you here, other than the two of us, Springvale is currently vacant like you requested.”

The struggling Mona watched as the old man walked away, she is left with the fishes swimming in that small pond.

“it seems like this phase of the experiment was a great success”

That afternoon, instead of Old Finch, a man from Fontaine came.

“wha- what the heck do you mean?? what happened to me?”

The man approached Mona and grabbed her head, her lack of human limbs doesn’t allow her to resist, all she can do is wait and accept what ever the man is going to do with her.

He forcefully inserted a large ring gag in her mouth and locked it behind her head and let her free again, he then walked away to get more apparatus.

“The oceanid’s heart requires a host, the heart we sent to you was already engineered and only requires activation.”

The man returned with a long metal rod that has numerous leather straps in it.

Just as she was trying to imagine what the pole is for, the man grabbed Mona by her tail and dragged her out of the water.

Mona tried to crawl away, but a collar was put on her neck, which was connected to the end of the metal rod. Then, the man aligned the rod to her body and locked more collars in her waist and at her tail.

The collars were as tight as it could be, and because it was fixed in the metal rod, Mona was forced to be in a straight body position.

As if the restraints was not enough, the man flipped Mona’s body over and proceeded to put more straps in her body, this time, to restrain her fins.

Her arm fins was strapped tightly to her body and locked on her chest, these two straps also emphasized her plump breasts.

Her pelvic fins is locked by a cross shaped strap that meets in her private areas, the lock has two rings similar to the one used in her mouth and are cleverly aligned to her vagina and anus.

To finish of, plugs were inserted in her mouth and her two holes that has corresponding rings. Each plug is 5cm in diameter and has a long protrusion about 20cm long.

“You will now be transported to Fontaine for the final processing”

The man said before locking the cylindrical container that has the fully restrained Mona in.

“I already informed Mondstadt Katherine that you went to Fontaine back with me, no worries about them missing you.”
