π Kasumi is a central character in the Dead or Alive (DOA) fighting game series by Team Ninja. She first appeared in the original Dead or Alive game, released in 1996.
Kasumi is a skilled kunoichi from the Mugen Tenshin Clan, known for her agility and mastery of the clanβs secret fighting style, Tenjinmon Ninjutsu. After becoming a "runaway shinobi" to avenge her brother Hayate, she is pursued by her clan as a traitor. Despite her soft-spoken and kind demeanor, Kasumi is a formidable fighter and a central figure in the DOA storyline, often tied to themes of family, loyalty, and survival.
