Kyla was feeling extra smug that day “Y’know,” she started, loud enough for Bjorn to hear, “Herbivores are cool and all,” she teased, “but come on they just eat grass! Sooo boring…
Bjorn didn’t even look up at first. Just giving a slow exhale through his mouth, the kind that said, “…You finished, bat-brain?”
Kyla grinned wider. “Oh, come on, big guy! I mean, grass? Seriously? What’s next, salad reviews?”
He stood, towering over her, his voice dripping with mock patience.
“Funny thing, Kyla… I was just wondering what you taste like.”Before she could blink, Bjorn’s hand swooped down.
“Wait! hey... HEY!!!!! I was kidding!”Too late. One swift motion later, she was brought to his mouth and pressed against his slimy tongue. Bjorn savored the flavor of Kyla's little body, feeling her struggle futilely against the warm embrace of his maw as her muffled voice echoed from inside his jaws. Kyla yelled: “Let me out, grass breath!”
But Bjorn simply kept toying with her, paying no mind to the bat's minuscule woe's as he withdrew his hand and Snapped his jaws shut, squeezing the mischievous flittermouse against his hard pallet, before finally tilting his head back and giving a final mighty gulp, Kyla, who was taken completely off guard, was sent squeezing and screaming down the bull's enormous gullet. "Look how funny... you taste like grass"He let out a satisfied sigh, patting his chest as the squelching and gurgling of his prey sliding down his esophagus emanated from deep inside his chest:
“Guess the grass-eater finally had some protein in the end.”
