Far from the kingdom’s grand cities, beyond a quiet village, a river flows gently—until it vanishes into a bottomless abyss. At the edge of this waterfall, where the mist never lifts, old legends whisper of gods who no longer answer.
In the village, a fanatical group has twisted ancient beliefs. Convinced that only innocent blood will bring the gods back, they’ve begun hunting travelers to offer to the sacred void.
Your party has been deceived, ambushed, or captured. You awaken atop the cliffs, surrounded by fog, as the cult prepares a “ritual” meant to bring salvation. The only way to escape your fate… is to fight for your lives.
