In the heart of an ancient forest, where sunlight barely reaches through twisted branches, lies a village forgotten by time: Blackleaf. Long ago, it was a small settlement of woodcutters and herbalists, full of life and evening songs. But now, only rotting wooden houses, collapsed roofs, and overgrown paths remain. Silence rules the place, broken only by the creak of branches or the distant howl of some creature.

The houses are empty. Doors hang from rusty hinges, and everyday items still sit on tables, as if their owners vanished suddenly.

The adventurers arrive in Blackleaf after hearing rumors about recent disappearances near the forest. Their mission is to uncover what happened to the village—and whether the cause still hides in the shadows.

As they explore, players will find fresh tracks, hand-carved warnings on the walls, and signs of dark rituals performed long after the village was abandoned. Something—or someone—has returned.

The heroes must learn the truth behind Blackleaf’s fall and face the dark force now lurking among the ruins. Is it an ancient creature awakened from the forest’s depths? A forgotten curse tangled in the roots? Or the echo of a broken pact that should never have been made?
