Sneak Previews + Content Update

Hi y'all! Thought I'd drop this lil' nugget for ya.

I'm still working on the long list of gallery requests, including new faces and new outfits (the skirt was a special request by a friend).!

The outfits are quite time-consuming, especially since I need to add legs and, in some cases, add arms and a chest. The skirt image is more of a prototype, as replacing the entire outfit of all of the images is akin to making a new sequence, so it may be a case of adding a skirt by itself for...

Alternate Gallery Live Now! (+ Voting)

The time has finally come! My comic has been out for a good couple of months now and I am so amazed by the support it has received! I started making the Ripe Remake comic in order to recreate some of my very first morphs, which were simple head-swaps and re-colourings, and now the time has come to see this through!

The gallery will be updated consistently with new models, fruit transformations, pages, etc., so be sure to stay tuned! Better yet, if you have a particular alternate you wou...

Anyway, I want to inform you all of the release schedule for thi...

Any day now...

After all this time, it's finally happening.

I have spent SOOOOOO long on this project that it was bizarre to go through every page and realize that it actually made one cohesive story/sequence. It's like I've turned the corner in a run and BAM, the finish line is right in front of me.

Anywho, the Inventing Room Ripe Remake is almost ready to release. I need to go over a few bits and bobs, like improve continuity with lighting and colour between pages. This is the final step.

Blueberry 101 - Tutorial

Hello again!

Each day brings us closer and closer to the release of The Inventing Room Ripe Remake! I am so excited that it is almost ready and I cannot wait for y'all to see it. I hope it's worth the (very very long) wait.

In the meantime, I have had a few people reach out to me; asking questions about morphing and I am always happy to help people with their artwork. This brings me to the main feature of this post: Blueberry 101: a tutorial that documents the process of making a ...

Scarlett: Blueberry or Blob?

Disclaimer: The persons featured in these images are fictional characters.

Lately I've been having fun experimenting with different colours/transformations and the alternate image featuring a non-berry transformation has made quite the impression on me. I am curious as to what you guys think!

Rest assured, the blueberry sequence will be released as originally intended, but I'm wondering if the non-berry transformations are popular, and if so then perhaps a full non-berry sequence ...

Sneaky Peaky

Last I left you, I said I would be taking time to think about my future and the content I want to post, but not before I release The Inventing Room Ripe Remake sequence and an alternate gallery to go along with it.

I'm sure you are all familiar with this shot from the film, now remade from the ground up and I am very happy with how it has turned out. Even the stock image model featured in the scene is a good fit for the scenario.

I have the next page almost completely ready too, ...

Personal Statement

Hello,

As you can tell by the title, my DeviantArt account has been deactivated. I have made an appeal, however I doubt that it will be reactivated, but that’s okay. Let me explain why:

First of all, I have made a new DeviantArt account under the name BubbleBoope, so if you want, you can follow the new account. I will be reuploading all of my older work that I know full-well does not violate any of DA’s terms and conditions. However, this is not what the point of this statemen...

Veruca Vs. Scarlett

I've been having quite a bit of fun with these two pages. At first, I was going to have a simple page for each of the berry bodies shown in the pages above with some text littered around, but since reworking the earlier pages to include the characters from the films, I have decided to do more than the initial plan!

I think that having Veruca and Sacarlett argue/bicker adds a new dynamic to the original inflation sequence and it speaks to their selfish natures; they are focusing o...

Which looks better?

First of all, ignore the model featured, as this is a temporary edit used to show the format more than the final piece of art. For anyone who was wondering, she is an adobe stock image model #268951460.

Getting back to business, I am wondering which of these layouts would be the best choice for the remake. The vertical format would look great on a phone and fairly well on a PC too. The landscape would look great on a PC, but terrible on a phone.

The two separate images would have...

Long Awaited Update

Hello (again)! It's been a while (again), but no matter, for I have more to share with you.

Turns out my laptop was beyond repair, so I ordered a new one, which took the better part of 3-4 weeks in total, hence the lil silent spell. Despite this delay, I am more than happy to tell y'all that I'm back on the horse with some new updates about the sequence:

Characters: I spent a while trying to find models to feature as the extras/other factory guests before realizing that it took up...

What if....

Been a while...so I thought I'd give y'all another update.

I finished all of the body morphs for the remake a few weeks ago, but making the Inventing Room itself has proven to be WAY more of a challenge and it got to me pretty hard. Felt like I hit a big road block, so I took a step back for a hot second.

Now I'm back at it and WOW, what a difference that time has made. I made a layout of the room and some very rough concept art in order to help wrap my head around camera angles,...

TIR Ripe Remake - Coming Soon

Hello! Just thought I'd pop in and give you all an update regarding the remake comic I've had in the making for a while.

The comic itself is coming along quite well. I have mainly been focusing on the full body morphs since they are the most time consuming part of the project (and the one that most people are excited for, so I felt I had to nail them down first). As you can see from the teaser above, I have been hard at work! I can't WAIT to share this set of images with you guys!...

2005 Remake BTS

I'm always excited to share these updates with y'all, especially when it helps illustrate my process. As you can see here, this is pretty straight forward:

1. I make a quick sketch of what I want to make. Ideally, it should be as minimalist as possible, and by this I mean it should be simple line art. I got a bit carried away with the rough shading. The reason for making it so simple is that it makes it easier to trace the outline in Photoshop.

2. Take a picture of the sketch on m...

Very Rough Preview (Thoughts?)

As you can see, this is a VERY rough preview of the first half (ish) of The Inventing Room Remake, and I wanna hear what you have to say about it!

Before that though, there are a few things to say:

1. The comic is subject to change, whether it is the layout, style, panels, etc. None of the characters except for the berry girls and Wonka are confirmed to be featured in the final product. They are just placement holders that are there in order for me to see what the overall visual w...

Beach Body Ready!

Hello again! I've been hard at work on the 2005 remake, now dubbed 'The Inventing Room Ripe Remake', but in taking on such a big task I have left myself with little time to work on other morphs...until today!

Some keen-eyed viewers may notice the body shape, as this morph is used from a body morph I made for the 2005 remake! Whilst editing the original, I was messing with the noise settings and set it too high accidentally. Funny enough, doing so with skin makes it look like sand, which...

Haven't posted in a while, so I thought I'd tune in to let y'all know I'm still hard at work on the new 2005 blueberry remake, now dubbed 'The Inventing Room Ripe Remake' (I'm a sucker for alliterations)!

The remake is coming along quite nicely. I'm finishing up the first half, along with the general layout of the entire sequence. The next step is to make the latter half, which is pretty much everything from the point the berry body is spherical. I bet most of you would say that we're n...

What do you think she sees?

Buying a house can be scary enough on it own without having to clear out all the previous owners stuff. Of course, if the previous owner was a former candy maker you'll have a lot more interesting things to discover. First find was a box of 'three-course-meal' gum. Second find was a mirror the size of an elephant that...wait a second. The engraving claims it shows the future.

With that in mind, what do you think she sees in the mirror?

I'm curious to hear what y'all think sh...

2005 Remake: Comic or Screenshots?

I have been having a big think this past week about how best to display the new 2005 remake sequences and these are the options I have narrowed it down to. Here are my arguments for/against each:

If I make a comic sequence, it means that it will have a much smoother flow between each image. It also means that it will be released much sooner since I won't have to dedicate so much time making complete backgrounds for the 20 or so images I have. The comic would also mean that I can include...

W.I.P #5

Work has been slow recently. I hit a road block with the 2005 remake sequence. It came when I started work on the backgrounds/setting of the piece. In all honesty, I lost all motivation, so I took some time to myself and it's been amazing! I feel completely refreshed and ready to get back to work.(as you can see above).  Anyway, here are some little teasers I have prepared. I'll likely go back and add flecks of purple to the skin colouring along with final lighting changes/touches, but s...

Making swift work of this sequence (at least the first half of it)! I have the first half almost completely done. There's bound to be a few tweaks and final adjustments that'll need to be made, but the main body of work is done! Quick note: these are not the final images, but they're fairly close.

The second half is everything that comes after the first image above, basically the spherical body stuff. I personally find this part more difficult cause it's harder to clearly picture i...

W.I.P #3 - 2005 Remake Update

We have a WINNER!

It's a landslide victory and I'm sure you are not surprised by the results! As of right now, I am focusing my work on remaking the 2005 inflation from the ground up, and here is a little sneak preview of one of the shots I've been working on. It's obviously still a work-in-progress, but I'm getting there slowly but surely.

The current scope of the project is unknown. I'll just keep making images until I feel that the sequence has done its job! Hopefully you can see the potential from th...

Which Movie Remake Should I Make First? [pics below]

Many people have asked me where my '71 and '05 celebrity sequences are. I will not be re-uploading them ever again, BUT I am willing to remake them! This would be a COMPLETE remake of shots from the movies from the ground up! New body models, new backgrounds, new lighting and even some new shots, angles, lighting, etc. This is something I have wanted to do for a long time now and I feel like I am finally ready to take on the challenge. Who knows, perhaps if this series goes as well as I hope,...
