For centuries, the mountains kept a secret beneath their hardened crust: a forgotten mine, built by greedy hands in search of an extinct mineral known as igneous stone. This fiery gem, capable of fueling arcane forges and spells of ancient power, could only be extracted from the deepest places near the heart of the earth.
Without maps or permits, the miners worked in secrecy. They dug narrow and dangerous tunnels, with no solid structures or safety measures. Their ambition led them to pierce a vast underground chamber: a junction of old mining rails stretching in multiple directions. At the center of the crossing, the tracks daringly span a natural pool of bubbling lava, roaring beneath a rusted and crumbling walkway.
It is said that the last miners sealed off a forbidden chamber before vanishing… and that their spirits still haunt the crossing, waiting for someone to unleash what should have never been unearthed.
