Update ♥

Big news~!  (short version at the bottom)

I recently became a dad which brought a lot of happiness into our home. ♥ It unsurprisingly pushed back my planned rig upgrades a bit!

I have some big news regarding upcoming content. Thanks to your support I am able to invest in better equipment and updated software. I recently upgraded my rig, which was a real champ in terms of what it's done in the past, having rendered 99% of my content so far, but sadly now  outdated. It was rocking a 8-year-old 980Ti. It was perfect for my beginner years in SFM but the latest Blender models have cause lag on its CPU. Not to mention I could only render in Eevee - one of the two render engines in Blender, the other being Cycles which is way more demanding. In terms of render times, an Eevee render takes roughly 20-30x faster to render.

Before you ask, no I don't have a flashy RGB-heavy, professional photograph of my desk with the newest, top-end GPU but the new rig was custom built entirely with new parts, new box, new CPU, and has the 4070Ti which is not a 4090 but is still much faster in terms of rendering and Blender and more importantly, I can use heavier and better quality models more smoothly, which in the previous rig, would lag and crash constantly, making the software unsuable. Let's not talk about raw numbers or render times, but let's just say I can now render in much higher quality in affordable times. Cycles supports the so-called Ray Tracing feature which you will see in my works very soon.

I've also invested in updated software for post-editing images and animations, and some effects packs, that will allow me to add better filters and better edit my animations after they have left Blender. ♥ 

Moreso, I've been reading up on and pratcicing photography and will gradually start implementing new color and composition improvements in my works.

Granted, some models and scenes look better in Eevee but and I will have a period of adjustment but surely, I can say for certain that in a couple short months, my quality will have improved significantly. I still have a couple projects in progress that I would like to finish but my future works will look much better in terms of shapes and lighting. The new Velma project that I will post shortly, will have the new look.

TL;DR : I'm really inspired with my new rig, and I am looking forward to creating better quality works from now on!~ Expect a transition to higher quality content in the next few months!
