Sneak Peek - Final Character Reveal, Lily's Costume (SPOILERS)

Hi everyone!

Our final character teaser is here - Lily! The one many of you have been waiting for, our Fluffy Neighbor and MC's girlfriend!

She's dressed up as a Witch! I gave her the classic witch aesthetic with a wide-brimmed pointed hat and a sleeveless black dress. The outfit shows off her figure while maintaining a mystical witch vibe, and paired with her blonde fur and green eyes, she looks absolutely adorable in this costume!

I've also included a special teaser for you guys - a sneak peek at a scene with MC and Lily inside a tent with a glowing crystal ball between them. Very spooky! This gives you a little taste of the kind of intimate moments you'll experience during the Moonfall Festival.

Sneak Peek - Double Costume Reveal (SPOILERS)

Hey everyone!

The release of My Fluffy Neighbor: Moonfall Festival is approaching, and that means another character reveal! This time, you guys are getting a two-for-one of MC and Morgan!

First up, we have MC wearing his... "costume"? It's just a simple ghost mask, but hey, it's something! Sometimes keeping it casual is the way to go, and MC's opted for the classic approach to the Moonfall Festival with this straightforward ghost mask look over regular clothes.

And next up is Morgan dressed as a Pirate! I gave him the full swashbuckler treatment with that red bandana, classic eyepatch, and a pirate's shirt that works perfectly with his character design. The eyepatch and bandana combo gives him that authentic pirate captain vibe, though he's ditched his usual glasses to complete the look - so good luck to him trying to navigate the festival grounds without being able to see properly.

Sneak Peek - Amber's Spooky Costume (SPOILERS)

Here's our next character reveal for the Moonfall Festival - Amber who is dressed as something extra spooky!

Amber is dressed up as a Mummy! She's completely wrapped up in bandage wrappings that cover her entire body, creating that iconic ancient Mummy look. You can still see her vibrant blue eyes peeking through the bandages, and her fluffy fox tail adding that perfect Amber touch to the traditional mummy aesthetic.

The bandages also do a great job accentuating Amber's curves, though it might get a bit cold underneath that thin layer during the autumn night ;)

I hope you guys are excited for the final few character reveals! Like I said, to keep the story focused and fun, there will only be a limited cast in the Moonfall Festival update (so, unfortunately, you may not see your favorite character in a new costume).

Sneak Peek: Moonfall Festival Lore, Setting, and Roxie's Costume (SPOILERS)

Hey everyone! Before we dive into today's character reveal, I wanted to give you all some more context about the Moonfall Festival and where this Halloween adventure takes place!

The Moonfall Festival is Oakridge's annual celebration marking the autumn harvest and honoring the full moon's power during the season's longest night. It's a time when the village comes together to celebrate with costumes, stories, and festivities. This year, MC and a few of his friends have decided to take the celebration outside the village to a campsite deep in the forests surrounding Oakridge - a more intimate gathering where they can enjoy the spooky atmosphere under the moonlight away from the usual crowds.

I've attached some sneak peek shots of the in-game environment so you can see the kind of spooky, cozy campsite atmosphere I've created for this side-story.

And now for today's costume reveal - here's Roxie dressed as a Vampire! The classic gothic look suits her perfectly with that dramatic cape, the elegant corset, and red accents. She's absolutely rocking the vampiress aesthetic, and I think you're all going to love seeing her in this outfit during the festival!

Sneak Peek: Bart's Moonfall Festival Costume (SPOILERS)

Thanks for all your votes on the poll! It seems a good majority of you would rather we delay v1.6.0 to November and get the Halloween update out sooner, which is exactly what I will do!

For the rest of October, sneak peeks and polls will mostly be focused on My Fluffy Neighbor: Moonfall Festival, so hopefully you guys are ready for some spooky seasonal content! This will be a fun departure from the main story while still giving you quality time with your favorite Oakridge residents in a festive setting.

And YES, paid Patreon members will absolutely get access to this game earlier than the public release, so don't worry - you're still getting all the supporter benefits you've come to expect! Early access will apply to the Halloween side-story just like it does for mainline updates.

Now, for our first sneak peek - here's a look at our favorite tavern owner, Bart, who will be dressed up for the Moonfall Festival as... Frankenstein's Monster!

He's really committed to the costume with the green skin, neck bolts, stitches, and some adjustments to his usual outfit. I think the look suits him pretty well - he's already got a big, imposing presence that makes the costume work perfectly, although I doubt he is scaring anybody.

IMPORTANT POLL: Winter Release Priority

Hey everyone! I need your input on the future Release Schedule, both so I can give you guys a clearer schedule for content and I don't bite off more than I can chew.

Option 1: v1.6.0 + Christmas Side-Story

Focus all development efforts on completing and releasing v1.6.0 this month, which means the Halloween update (Moonfall Festival) will likely be cancelled entirely (since it won't make it to release by Halloween). However, in exchange, we'll create a special Christmas side-story that will release in December. Development for the Christmas content will begin next month immediately after v1.6.0 launches, ensuring you still get a holiday-themed special event this year - just focused on Christmas instead of Halloween.

Option 2: Halloween Side-Story (v1.6.0 Delayed)

Focus on getting the Halloween side-story (Moonfall Festival) released this month (likely before Halloween night), but v1.6.0 gets delayed to November. If it seems the majority of you would rather see Halloween Content and are okay with the main-line update being delayed, then I'm all for that as well.

I want to leave this decision up to you guys since you're the ones supporting the project! Let me know what you'd prefer to see prioritized!

Community Poll: Upcoming Character (Potential Spoilers)

Hello everyone!

I hope you guys have had a great start to the month. We are back with another poll, as I need your help deciding who the next character we meet in Oakridge will be!

I want to preface this by saying that this character won't be introduced in the upcoming update, but rather the one after that. I still want to spend time developing meaningful scenes with our current cast and giving them the attention they deserve! However, this poll will decide who gets introduced first when the time comes to expand Oakridge's roster.

Option 1: On the right is a cute, relaxed-looking frog girl with a much more casual vibe. She's got an easygoing energy about her, dressed comfortably and sporting a friendly demeanor. No names or roles spoiled here, but she seems like someone who takes life at her own pace and doesn't get too worked up about things.

Option 2: On the left, you'll see a kind, wealthy-looking sheep girl with an elegant presence. She's clearly someone of status in Oakridge, dressed impeccably with distinctive curled horns and fluffy wool. I won't reveal her name or specific role just yet, but she definitely looks like she was born into more wealth than most!

Important: Eventually, BOTH characters will be introduced to the story - this isn't choosing who exists in Oakridge! This poll decides who MC will meet first in an earlier update. The other will follow in subsequent releases.

Cast your vote and help shape the order of MC's expanding social circle in Oakridge!

A Personal Update, Where I've Been, & What's Coming Next

Hey everyone,

I want to start by apologizing for my absence on Patreon this past month. I know I haven't been as active as I should be with updates, polls, sneak peeks, and just general communication with all of you. You all deserve better than radio silence, especially those of you who just recently joined as patrons (welcome, by the way - I promise this isn't how things normally go around here).

I want to be honest with you about where I've been and what's been going on. This past month has been really difficult for me mentally. It's been a combination of personal struggles, the mounting pressure of balancing school and work, and trying to keep up with development on My Fluffy Neighbor all at once. I've found myself spending most days locked away in my room, and that isolation has really taken a toll on my mental health in ways I didn't fully anticipate. It created this cycle where I felt unproductive, which made me feel worse, which made me even less productive, which kept me from having anything substantial to share with you all here on Patreon. It's been tough to work through, and I hate that it's affected my ability to deliver content and stay connected with this community.

I don't want to disappoint any of you, especially after the incredible support you've shown by subscribing and believing in this project. Your support means everything to me, and knowing that you're waiting for updates has been both motivating and, admittedly, a source of pressure that I've struggled to handle well this month. The good news is that I'm actively working on getting myself back on track. I'm taking steps to improve my situation and get back into a healthier routine and mindset.

I'm happy to announce that the next major update, version 1.6.0, will be releasing in late October. I know September was the first month where you didn't receive an update as patrons, and I'm truly sorry that you'll have to wait a bit longer for the next one, but I promise I'm going to make it worth the wait.

Version 1.6.0 isn't just going to be new content - it's going to include all the planned improvements that were originally intended for version 1.5.2, which means updating all the old images and scenes from the launch build. This will essentially make it the definitive version of My Fluffy Neighbor so far, giving you both fresh content to explore and a reason to revisit the earlier parts of the game with vastly improved visuals and polish.

But that's not all. I'm also planning something special for Halloween - a short, completely free standalone update that everyone will be able to enjoy! It won't tie directly into the main storyline, but it will offer some fun, cute, and spicy Halloween-themed content featuring the characters we all love. I'll be putting out polls very soon so you can all vote on what costumes the characters will be wearing, so keep an eye out for that!

Moving forward, I want you to know that I'm committed to being much more active here on Patreon. You can expect regular content sneak peeks, development previews, polls to help shape the direction of the game, and just more communication in general. My mental health has been improving, and while I still have work to do, I don't want you to worry too much - I'm taking care of myself and getting the support I need.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support. I truly couldn't have asked for a better community, and I'm grateful every single day that you've chosen to be part of this journey with me! Let's make the rest of this year amazing together.

Community Poll: MC's Fluffy New Look

Hello everyone!

Hope you guys enjoyed the latest update! From what I've heard, you really enjoyed the character development in this chapter, as well as that cliffhanger at the end ;)

For those who finished the update, this poll relates directly to that cliffhanger. As you saw, MC has transformed into an anthro (temporarily... hopefully :0). For reference, THIS is what he'll be looking like in his anthro form: a gray dog/wolf anthro, and a pretty worried-looking one at that!

The Question: During his time as an anthro, would you prefer to see his sprite visible during conversations (beyond just the small image in the text box)? Should we maintain the first-person perspective we've always used, or would you like to see his sprite standing side-by-side with other anthros during dialogue scenes?

This is purely about visual presentation - keeping the immersive first-person POV style versus seeing the transformed MC as a full character sprite during conversations.

Obviously this transformation will be temporary, so this would only affect the visual style for the duration he remains in anthro form. Once he finds a way to revert the transformation, we'll return to the largely faceless MC approach we've always used.

Let me know what you'd prefer! If you enjoy the more immersive, first-person POV style that My Fluffy Neighbor is known for, we can absolutely stick with that approach even during the transformation.

v.1.5.0 Feedback + v.1.5.2 Sneak Peak

Hello Everyone!!

I hope you guys have been enjoying the latest update! It's been a few days now since v1.5.0 dropped, so I think it's a good time to ask for your thoughts and feedback.

What did you think of the update? Which parts or scenes were your favorites? I'm especially curious about any theories you might have regarding that cliffhanger at the end - I've been dying to see what you all think is coming next!

I'm also looking for honest feedback on what you thought could have been improved.

I know this update was much less interactive than previous ones and completely lacked minigames, which I will definitely make up for in the next major update. But beyond that, was there anything else where you felt I missed the mark or could have added something more?

Also, here's a sneak peek at one of the many CG updates coming in v1.5.2! This is from when you first meet Daisy, and her original CG looked really unlike the Daisy we know now (and honestly a bit odd and more animalistic). I've updated it to actually look like her, alongside many other improvements you'll see soon.

The files have been updated in the launch post, so if you were waiting for the translations go ahead and re-download the files! Also, please give some feedback on the quality of the translations, as I approached them in a different way this time around.

Hey everyone! After a month of teasing and updates, v1.5.0 is finally here! I know you've all been patiently waiting for this one, and I'm excited to finally get it into your hands. This update is quite different from our recent releases - it's very dialogue-heavy, so I hope you're all ready to dive deep into conversations and really get to know the residents of Oakridge better!

Quick heads up though - THIS IS THE ENGLISH RELEASE ONLY.

The sheer amount of dialogue in this update means the translations were rushed and frankly not up to my standards. I'll be redoing them all properly, so give it one or two more days for our international supporters. I want to make sure everyone gets the quality experience they deserve!

New Content:

  • 45 minutes to 1+ hour of gameplay depending on your choices

  • 75 new CGs

  • 5 new music tracks to enhance the Oakridge atmosphere

  • 3 H-scenes (1 being optional)

  • Interactions with Daisy, Morgan, Hazel, and several other characters

  • Tons of meaningful dialogue choices throughout the experience

  • Deeper relationship development with Lily, Daisy, and Morgan

Bug Fixes and Polish:

  • Fixed French bug during Penny encounter

  • Fixed Russian bug when returning home from the adventure with Amber

  • Updated Patreon supporter list (as of September 7th, 2025)

This update really focuses on character depth and world-building through meaningful conversations. If you've been wanting to learn more about the personalities and histories of Oakridge's residents, this is definitely the update for you!

Looking Ahead: I'm actually planning to push two additional updates to this version:

v1.5.1 will deliver proper translations for all our supported languages, plus some updated translations for past content (huge thanks to our lovely volunteer translators!) - Complete

v1.5.2 will be a major visual overhaul to Launch Day Content! I'll be recreating the majority of CGs from the launch build that I feel aren't up to current standards. If you haven't replayed the early game content in a while, you'll soon be able to experience it with fresh, higher-quality visuals - including completely recreated H-scenes!

Small Update Regarding v.1.5.0 Release

Hey everyone! It's finally release day!!!

I know you're all excited to get your hands on v1.5.0, so I wanted to give you a quick timeline update. This update will be releasing at 7:00pm PST today.

Don't worry - it's definitely still coming today! I just wanted to let you know it'll be a bit later in the evening since I'm doing some final thorough bug-testing to make sure this version is as polished as possible, especially for our international supporters with the translations.

I know waiting sucks when you're this close, but I'd rather take a few extra hours to catch any issues now than have you deal with bugs later. Quality over speed!

Stay tuned - we're in the home stretch! No need to be alarmed, just dotting the i's and crossing the t's.

My Fluffy Neighbor v1.5.0 - Release Date Announcement

Hey everyone!

It's finally time to announce the release date for My Fluffy Neighbor v.1.5.0! I know you've all been patiently waiting, and I hope you guys are excited.

v.1.5.0 will be released for Paid Members on Sunday, September 7th

This has, again, been a long development cycle (despite the amount of content seemingly being less than previous updates), but this extended timeline has boiled down to the sheer volume of dialogue in this update.

Why has this taken so long?

This update is absolutely dialogue-heavy. You'll be reconnecting with many familiar faces from previous updates, having fun conversations with some characters and deeper conversations with two in particular. The sheer volume of dialogue has been staggering—and as anyone who's written knows, quality conversation takes time to craft right. But we're finally crossing the finish line!

I want to be upfront: this update will feel different from our usual pace. It's more conversational, focused on character development rather than constant action or interactive elements. Think of it as a 'filler' episode that sets up for future events.

Final sprint tasks:

  • Translation work - With the enormous amount of new dialogue, localization across our 5 supported languages is going to be quite the undertaking

  • Final bug testing and sound design - I saved sound design for last this time, so I'm doubling back to give the audio the attention it deserves

  • Polish and final touches - You've come to expect a certain level of quality, and I'm determined to deliver that standard once again

What's waiting for you: While this update is lighter on minigames and interactive content, it makes up for it with 3 H-scenes—the most we've ever included in a single release. One is optional (and I think you know exactly which character that involves), while the other two are for everyone. They're crafted to match the intimate, cozy atmosphere of this update rather than having multiple poses.

Looking ahead:

The next update will bring back all the action, interactivity, and dynamic content you love. Consider v1.5.0 our "character development episode" that sets up some major story beats for what's coming. Sometimes you need these quieter moments to make the exciting ones hit even harder!

Sneak Peak: Like Father like Daughter (SPOILERS)

Hey everyone! Hope you're all ready for another small glimpse into v.1.5.0!

MC gets his first chance to chat with both Bart and Penny together in the same scene! Seeing them stand next to each other, you can definitely see the similarities between the two - but the same definitely can't be said for their personalities!

It seems Bart has already found a way to embarrass Penny in front of our MC! What kind of conversation is MC about to walk into with these two very different pigs?

I hope you guys have been enjoying the additional sneak peaks, however small. A release date announcement is coming soon as well so stay tuned as I begin to prep the launch of v.1.5.0!

Also, I hope you guys aren't too disappointed with the longer development cycle. Again, this is my passion project, which you guys have enabled me to devote so much time to outside of school and my full-time job (which I can't be more grateful for)! However, it also means that sometimes life simply gets in the way of development, which can be extremely unexpected.

I promised after last month that I would be less hard on myself with development deadlines so that I don't burn out, and I hope you guys don't mind :)

Community Poll: MC's Role in Oakridge

Hey everyone!

I wanted to run a community poll to get your insights on an important decision coming up in My Fluffy Neighbor. While this won't directly affect the current content being developed for v.1.5.0, it will have an impact on the future direction of the game.

Right now, MC embodies the classic slice-of-life protagonist. He wakes up and suddenly finds himself caught in a whirlwind of events he must navigate! While this approach makes it easy to take the story in countless unique and engaging directions, it can also make MC's role feel somewhat passive. Sure, the game centers around his relationships with the various residents of Oakridge, but it feels incomplete if that's all he remains.

Maybe it's time we address the elephant in the room... the 'J' word... A JOB! :0

Within the next update or two, MC could get some form of employment. Something that can provide him with acorns while making his presence in Oakridge feel more purposeful and integrated into the community.

For example, he could recognize that he's naturally become someone the residents turn to for help with various situations (goblin hunting, testing experiments, tavern troubles, etc.). Maybe he could formalize this by advertising his services for acorns - something like an independent contractor.

Alternatively, we could keep things as is. If you feel that formalizing it might reduce the organic nature of these encounters, I'm completely fine NOT implementing it.

My Fluffy Neighbor v.1.5.0 - Progress Report

Hey everyone! I hope you guys have had an excellent start to your weekends :)

I wanted to give you guys a proper update since I have set to give a proper 'progress report' on where we stand with v1.5.0 development! I also have a few goodies for you guys, so stick around ;)

This update is turning out to be VERY dialogue heavy, which means I've been doing a lot of writing... and re-writing... and even more writing. Seriously, the amount of dialogue I've been writing and editing is insane, but I am doing this with a goal in mind: to offer a closer connection to the characters in Oakridge.

I'm also using this update to set up small future events in updates. Nothing major, sticking with the 'slice of life' aspect, but you may hear MC learn about some future characters, village dynamics, and maybe even get in a new predicament of his own. Plus, I am having MC reconnect with characters we haven't seen in a while, so get ready to see a few familiar faces!

Since this is so writing-intensive, I've only finished about 40 CGs so far. I know that's fewer than recent updates, but I feel like this update is still going to be quite polished, interesting, and fun.

Also, currently there is no planned minigame for this update. I tried to make something work, but it felt 'forced' and didn't really fit the narrative. Hopefully you guys can still enjoy moments that come from character development and conversations rather than interactivity.

A release date will be announced soon as I continue to GRIND through this update!

Poll: Scene with Morgan (Potential Spoilers)

Hello, everyone!

As promised, I’ve got another poll for my Neighbor and Oakridge Local tiers. This time, I need YOUR help deciding how we should approach the first H-scene with Morgan.

Based on the feedback you’ve given me after each update, I’ve started to realize that I sometimes rush into sex scenes. For example, some of you felt that Bree’s scene was a little too fast, and that the full nelson wasn’t the right choice for her first time. That’s completely fair, and it’s exactly why I want your input on how Morgan’s first time should be handled.

I’ve come up with a few possible directions, and I’d like you to choose which one feels best:

1. Anal Sex

If you feel it works to jump straight into penetration, I’m happy to go that route. In this update, the MC will already be spending more intimate time with Morgan, which could naturally lead to sex. Still, it may come across as a bit sudden for some.

2. Handjob

Instead of rushing into penetration, MC could start by giving Morgan a handjob. This slower build would let their sexual relationship grow more naturally. On the other hand, some of you might find it underwhelming, since Morgan’s last scene also involved masturbation. It would also mean you will have to wait for a future update to have sex with him.

3. Assplay / Toys

This path might feel slower paced, but also more unique and kinky. MC could play with Morgan’s ass, fingering him and helping “train” him for the future. If it works visually, it could even lead into Morgan bringing out a toy, with MC using it on him. While it’s a more kinky approach, it might still leave some players wanting more.

Let me know which option you like best, or if you have another idea you’d like to see explored!

MC stops by Morgan's bookstore and finds Amber already there having a conversation with Morgan. From the looks of it, Amber seems a bit worried about something and Morgan is listening intently, giving her his full attention.

Sneak Peak: A Familiar (and worried) Face (SPOILERS)


Hey everyone! Get ready to become reacquainted with a familiar face we haven't seen in awhile in this next update :)

Our protagonist is about to meet up with Daisy again - the sweet, maternal cow who helped guide MC through his very first day in Oakridge! It feels like forever since we last saw her warm smile, but something's different this time around...

When MC encounters Daisy in this update, she's looking a lot more worried than the confident, welcoming anthro we remember from the game's initial launch. What could possibly have the usually-composed Daisy so anxious? And more importantly, will MC be able to step up and help her through whatever challenge she's facing?

Sneak Peak: Bree's New Look (SPOILERS)

Hello everyone! Here's a quick sneak peek at Bree wearing the new outfit MC bought for her.

She already looks so much happier, more comfortable, and expressive! It's amazing what proper clothes can do for a goblin's confidence!

Quick Update on v1.5.0 Development:

I owe you all an apology for the lack of sneak peeks and polls lately for v1.5.0. Unfortunately, I had some major setbacks that have significantly delayed progress.

Long story short - I make a backup every time I finish an update, but due to some fuck-ups on my part, I lost a massive amount of progress and had to revert all the way back to the v.1.4.0 backup. All the writing, coding, and development work I've done since the v1.4.0 launch has to be completely redone from scratch.

It's frustrating as hell, but I'm grinding to get back to where I was as quickly as possible. I know you've been patiently waiting for more content previews and development polls, and I promise I'll get those rolling again once I've recovered the lost ground.

Announcement: Patreon Tier Restructuring & Enhanced Benefits

Hello everyone! I need to share some changes coming to our Patreon tiers, and I want to be completely upfront about why this is happening and what you're getting in return.

New Tier Pricing:

  • Newcomer: $4 USD → $5 USD ($1 increase)

  • Neighbor: $6.50 USD → $8 USD ($1.50 increase)

  • Oakridge Local: $9.50 USD → $12 USD ($2.50 increase)

These changes are effective immediately, but if you already paid/your membership renewed, you will not be charged the new price until next month.

Why I'm Making This Change:

Growth has basically stalled over the past month due to the ongoing issues with Itch and other platform changes. This has made it really challenging to bring in new supporters while maintaining the development pace you've come to expect. Creating updates like v1.4.0 (1.5 hours of content) requires me to spend virtually every free moment outside my day job working on the game.

These modest increases help ensure I can continue dedicating that level of time and effort to the project without compromising on quality or scope. However, I will not raise the prices without any added benefits for you guys...

Enhanced Benefits to Match the Increase:

Extended Early Access: You'll now get updates a minimum of 2 weeks before public release (up from ~1 week). By the time content goes public, there might even be another update ready for you!

Exclusive Discord Recognition: Oakridge Locals get a special Discord role separate from regular Patreon supporters, acknowledging your exceptional level of support.

Enhanced Story Influence: I will be increasing the volume of polls so you guys have even more influence on upcoming content. Neighbor tier and above will continue to get even more exclusive polls that directly influence storylines and character development. Newcomer tier will now only access general development polls.

More Development Content: An increase amount of sneak peeks throughout each development cycle instead of silence between updates. Development insights, character design iterations, story drafts, and behind-the-scenes content to keep you engaged during the wait!

The Bottom Line:

I know asking for more money is never easy, especially in today's economy. But I believe these expanded benefits provide better value while helping secure the project's long-term sustainability! Your support has made every major update possible, and these changes ensure I can keep delivering the content that makes My Fluffy Neighbor worth your investment.

I'm not trying to squeeze extra profit here, just trying to create a sustainable model that lets me keep pouring the amount of time this project deserves into making it the best it can be.

Thoughts on v.1.4.0 - Feedback

Hello, everyone!

I hope you've all had a chance to dive into the latest update for My Fluffy Neighbor! There was a ton of new content packed in there, and hopefully most of you have had time to explore it all by now :)

As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the update. How did you find it? What were your favorite moments or additions? And of course, what areas do you think could use improvement going forward? I made a conscious shift back toward giving players more agency through the bulletin board system, which I feel provides a nice in-game justification for tackling events in whatever order you prefer.

I'm also curious to hear your thoughts on the Tavern minigame – it took quite a bit of time to code and design, so I want to know if it was worth it. I know it's fairly simple, but I'm hoping it added some fun variety to the experience. Let me know if you'd like to see more simple minigames in future updates.

My Fluffy Neighbor v1.4.0 - Launch

Hey everyone! For the absolute final time, I apologize for the wait between updates. This past month has been a complete mess in my personal life, and I know you've all been incredibly patient while I've navigated through everything. I cannot express how much I appreciate your understanding and continued support through all of this chaos.

That said, I think the wait was worth it because v1.4.0 is officially out, and it's the largest update My Fluffy Neighbor has ever received! We're talking about a massive content drop that I'm excited to share with all of you.

New Content:

  • 1.5 hours of new story content - the most substantial story update yet!

  • 116 new CGs - smashing our previous record of 92 added CGs!

  • 5 brand new, unique music tracks to bring even more life to Oakridge

  • 2 H-scenes (with 1 being optional based on player choice)

  • 1 interactive minigame - something completely new for the series!

  • 2 new characters you'll have significant interactions with

  • Major continuation of the player and Lily's developing relationship

  • Story content that adapts to player choices - more interactive than before

  • Tons of meaningful dialogue choices throughout the experience

Character & Visual Updates:

  • Updated, new Lily sprites - she's never looked better with her main sprites being overhauled. It's still the same Lily, just with a fresh coat of paint.

  • Redesigned Bart's daughter - this change is now reflected in previous content

Quality of Life & Fixes:

  • Fixed missing translations from v1.3.0 during Bree's forest interaction (Chinese, Russian, French, Spanish)

  • Fixed Chinese game progression issue - sincere apologies to anyone affected by this

  • All new content fully translated in every supported language

  • Fixed Chinese menu display issues - you can read all the interaction options now!

This update really focuses on giving players more agency in how they experience the story while delivering the biggest content package we've ever created. The relationship development with Lily that many of you have been asking for is finally here, and I think you're going to love how her story unfolds!

My Fluffy Neighbor v1.4.0 - Release Date Update

Hey everyone!

I wanted to take some time for a comprehensive announcement on where we stand with the latest My Fluffy Neighbor release. I know you've all been patiently waiting, and I wanted to give you the full picture of where things are at.

V.1.4.0 will be released for Paid Members on Saturday, August 2nd

I've been working around the clock trying to get this update finished before the end of July, and while I'm incredibly close, I need to be realistic about the final steps required to deliver the quality you deserve.

Why the extra few days?

  • Final bug testing and QA passes - With this being the largest update to date, there are more systems and interactions that need thorough testing (including a minigame)

  • Translation work completion - Making sure all new dialogue and scenes are properly localized for our 6 supported languages

  • Legacy bug fixes - Taking the opportunity to address some lingering issues from previous updates that have been on my list

  • Polish and fine-tuning - Those final touches that make the difference between "good" and "great"

Moving forward: I want to emphasize again that this extended timeline will NOT become a habit. The real-life circumstances that caused delays this update are resolving, and I'll be returning to our usual ~2 week development rhythm.

Despite the challenges, I've still managed to produce what I believe is some great content - something that should not just match but exceed the quality standards you've come to expect from My Fluffy Neighbor.

I'll be sharing more detailed content information when the game releases. The wait is almost over, and I can't wait for you all to experience what we've been working on!

Regarding Itch.io and My Fluffy Neighbor

Hey everyone!

I wanted to reach out personally to address what happened today with itch.io and how it affects My Fluffy Neighbor moving forward. I know some of you might be concerned, so let me be completely transparent about the situation.

What happened: Itch made the sudden decision to delist ALL adult/NSFW content from their platform due to pressure from payment processors (Visa/Mastercard) and an advocacy group called Collective Shout. This wasn't a targeted action against My Fluffy Neighbor specifically - it was a blanket removal affecting over 20,000 games across the platform.

The silver lining: From what I've read and have been told, Itch is conducting a comprehensive content review and only plans to permanently remove games containing extreme content like non-consensual themes, incest, or similar problematic material.

Since My Fluffy Neighbor contains none of that content - it's a wholesome romance story about building meaningful connections - it should absolutely return once their review process is complete.

What this means for you as supporters: This situation actually reinforces why your Patreon support is so invaluable. While Itch sorts this out, you'll continue receiving all updates exactly as planned. No interruptions, no delays, no changes to the development schedule.

I want to be crystal clear about this - My Fluffy Neighbor is absolutely NOT going anywhere. This project means everything to me, and your support has made it possible for me to pour my heart into every update. One platform having temporary issues doesn't change my dedication to this story or to all of you who've believed in it from the beginning.

Even if itch's review takes longer than expected, I'm already researching alternative distribution methods to ensure the game remains accessible to everyone. Your continued support gives me the stability to weather situations like this and keep developing without compromise.

I'm still working on our next major update, and this situation won't slow that down one bit. If anything, it's motivation to keep creating the wholesome, heartwarming content that makes My Fluffy Neighbor special - the kind of NSFW game that thrives on genuine connections rather than relying on shock value.

My Fluffy Neighbor v1.4.0 - Progress Report

Hey everyone!

First off, I owe you all a sincere apology. This entire month has been absolutely insane trying to juggle three full-time commitments all at once - developing this game, my 9-5 job, and studying for exams. Balancing all three has been a nightmare, but I've still managed to make substantial progress on v1.4.0, and I think it's time to give you the progress report you deserve!

A shift in focus: Building on the interactivity you loved in v1.3.0, this update maintains that engaging experience but with less environmental focus. That means some elements are still interactive, but not as much of a focus on interacting with the environment.

Moving forward, I will also be slowing down the introduction of new characters to really dive deep into developing our existing relationships - so get ready to see some familiar faces in this update! (Though there will still be one special new addition to keep things fresh)

Current Progress (and we're only about 60% complete!):

  • 70 new CGs completed - and remember, this is only 60% through the update, so we're looking at another massive content drop

  • 3 new music tracks so far that enhance the environments in Oakridge.

  • One New Anthro introduced (the character we teased earlier - he's worth the wait!)

  • 1 H-scene fully completed with 2 more planned for this release

  • Completely reworked Lily's sprites - all new expressions and poses for our beloved Fluffy Neighbor

  • New Bree sprites in development to reflect the events happening in this update

The dialogue and narrative content continues to be extensive, with the same focus on light-hearted by heartwarming fun. The interactive coding elements are still present, allowing for more player agency while maintaining the story quality you expect from my writing!

Timeline Update: Despite this being the longest development cycle we've had, I'm committed to delivering this update before the end of the month. The extended timeline is purely due to real-life circumstances that are completely outside of game development - and I want to assure you this will NOT become a habit going forward. Once things settle down next week, my workflow will increase significantly, and we'll be back to our usual ~2 ish week development cycles.

As always, I'm working hard to ensure this releases before any subscription renewals, and I'll keep you posted on the exact timing as we get closer.

I know the wait has been longer than usual, and I'm genuinely sorry for that. Your patience and continued support mean everything to me, especially during these hectic times. This update is shaping up to showcase some truly meaningful character development that I think will make the wait worthwhile!

Community Poll: Bree's New Outfit

Hey everyone!

As you guys remember, our protagonist is going to be shopping for clothes for his new roommate, Bree! However, I would like to poll you guys on which outfit he buys.

I have three options below. I decided since she is so small, her outfit should just be a single top (kind of like her current outfit) that covers her entire body. Before you ask, it would be impossible to actually let the player choose an outfit, as it would be a permanent change to her design and cause too many problems down the line.

Behind the Scenes look at a New Character (SPOILERS)

Get ready to meet someone new in the upcoming update! Say hello to Morgan, a white cat anthro who helps out our protagonist in the next update!

He is a 'femboy' character (by popular demand), and is another anthro the player can get to know. You will be able to toggle whether or not you have any sort of relationship with him beyond just platonic.

Morgan is going to bring a new flavor to the world of Oakridge, and I hope you guys enjoy interacting with him. I am hard at work on this next update, so be ready to see some new (and familiar) faces :)
