The newest seasons were supposed to be 10 episodes but they cut it short so they could get the specials out for paramount but the specials were paramount exclusive. this lawsuit is why there wasnt a new season in 2024. Paramount paid 900 million dollars for south park season 27 and specials but warner says there was a contract breach

Eventually we just watched it when it came on, my parents payed no mind to it. They were usually asleep by the time it came on. It's not like it was DRAWN TOGETHER. now that show was chaotic

2025-01-28 11:28:07 +0000 UTCI was in the 5th grade when South Park began. I was NOT allowed to watch South Park, or even the Simpsons, but I found ways to watch it. Sometimes at a friend's house, or on the weekends when my parents went to sleep early, with the volume down of course, or if my sister was babysitting me, she never cared what I watched. I'm a few seasons behind right now but I still watch it all these years later. Sunny and South Park are my 2 favorite shows of all time so clearly I never grew out of this type of humor๐คฃ

But South Park brought it to a whole new level. The creators Matt and Trey met while in a film class, They bonded over their love for the provacative, antiauthoritarion humor of Monty Python, which you can tell they draw inspiration from. You should watch a monty python movie sometime. Two of their movies are some of the highest rated comedies of all time, no exaggeration. "The Life of Brian", and "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", are both legendary movies and deserve a reaction. You will laugh hard
