Please. do enjoy this robust meal with a side of freshly plucked rowa berries. Fokin' delicious.

(We wanted this piece out by Saturday but I ended up struggling with Blaidd's dialogue boxes. They're a pain in the butt to figure out sometimes.)

You know, everyone has pet-peeves -- relatively mundane and inconsequential things which bother them for one reason or another. Lord knows I have many... but one in particular is relevant to this piece.

See, Blaidd is ugly. He's scary and repugnant. His facial proportions are crudely elongated and noticeably asymmetrical, having been horribly disfigured and left with deep battle-born scars, and his fur is overall shaggy and hopelessly unkempt. Blaidd also has a goofy underbite, reinforced by his misaligned bottom fangs sprouting out of his mouth like baby tusks (not that the immaculate voice-acting reflects that).

Despite how frightening his visage is, Blaidd is nothing if not terribly kind, gentle and loyal to his most cherished comrades. There's something very poignant about that, not to mention sexually appealing.

I wish more people saw the value in such qualities, because not only do we get fewer ugly characters in general, but those that do come out ugly are inevitably smoothed over by fanart.

Admittedly, I'm biased, I myself am a rather hideous gremlin. Fun at parties though.
