Every year I try to prepare for just how difficult February and March are for my seasonal depression, and every year it ends up hitting me harder than I expect. At least I'm realizing this halfway through it this time, which is a small blessing.
As Patreon is forcing me to change to monthly billing, it also means these updates will have to change along with them (as they're the way I've been able to make the "every two weeks" billing function from the start). So far I think what makes the most sense is to switch to monthly updates, because I do want to keep doing these! I want to keep letting you know what I'm up to—especially as I do my best to make 2025 the year where I put more stuff out into the world.
I'll probably do the big change in April, to give you a bit of a heads-up. I'll see what tools Patreon offers for it, but expect everything to more or less stay the same for you at the end of the day: instead of USD$1 twice a month it'll be USD$2 once a month (or their equivalents in your local currency depending on how Patreon does it in your neck of the woods), and so on. Your monthly bill should essentially not change at all.
