Boemen are aberrations that seek out and nest in tight, enclosed spaces. They feed off terror and continuously stalk their prey, extracting as much fear as they can from them. Boemen themselves are skittish and frail, causing most to target the young or infirm. 

Boemen are hard to root out. They possess an innate ability to go unnoticed and can move silently. The flexibility of these aberrations allows them to fold themselves into tiny spaces and any opening they can fit their heads into, they can get through, making them master infiltrators.

Dryads tend to be peaceful beings who rarely show themselves if possible. Normally, instead of resolving conflicts directly, a dryad will seek out individuals known to it to handle the situation. In exchange for these services, the dryad provides boons or rare materials grown in their secluded gardens.

Here, a warden is receiving their payment; an enchanted cattail.

A grimalkin is a chimera; a creature comprised of several animals. Prior to travel to the New World, most grimalkin were crafted from lemur, weasel and badgers, with a cat as the baseline animal. This created a crafty, yet unpredictable, cat-like creature. Modern grimalkin are typically a combination of racoon, new world monkeys and cats. The modern grimalkin is more intelligent and predictable, with the added benefit of a prehensile tail, grasping hands and an omnivorous diet.

A sorcerer's gate is a point within the mortal astral form where energy flows out into the world. Typically, these points are found on the palms of the hand and soles of the feet, creating places where one's spiritual energy can be focused.

When a sorcerer casts a spell, the gate on their palms release energy into the astral realm and the smaller gates on the fingers can shape and contain that energy into the desired effect. Once the proper effect is produced, the sorcerer uses their mana to breach the divide between spiritual and physical and summons the spell into reality.

This same principle can be applied to the gates located on the feet, however because toes lack the flexibility of fingers, any spellcasting done through the feet is going to be simplistic or inefficient.

As some may know, there was a recent switch with artists on the project. Unfortunately, this led to a severe delay in the artwork for the project getting out. I want to thank everyone for their continued support during this time.

Many sorcerers operate under the master and apprentice system. With a hands-on approach, the master can guide their apprentice in both theory and practical applications of magic. When starting out, simple concepts must form the bedrock of future training, such as control and focus. For this reason, one of the first exercises many young sorcerers undergo is the conjuring and control of fire (under strict supervision, of course).

March Update

Sorry about the lack of updates. I'll run down them quickly to give everyone an idea of what's going on.

I got sick very recently and have been laid out by that, meaning I haven't been very active or working much on the project. I apologize for that, but I'm getting better and will soon resume work.

Art is being made and commissioned. You will be seeing artwork as soon as some final touches are made.

There is was no poll for this month because, again, there was only one submission for the poll.

I'd like to ask people who are Wizard tier to submit their ideas when the monthly reward comes up. You're under no obligation, but it's just nice for people to vote on ideas.

January/February Update

I'm just updating everyone on the recent search for new artists.

As you may know, the project artist has disappeared and left me with little to offer in regards to artwork and rewards. As unfortunate as it was, I had to decide to find a new artist (or artists) to come on and continue that work.

Throughout the month of January I've been contacting many artists and talking with several about working on the project in varying capacity. Some artists still need to get back to me or determine other factors that might get in the way. 

This means that new art will be coming soon as I finalize the new artists. The process isn't finished yet, but it is close.

So new art is coming. I just wanted to make sure everyone was kept up to date.

Thank you all so much for your patience during this period of uncertainty. It wasn't the bet situation to find myself in but everyone's continued support allowed the project to go on while new artists were interviewed.

Concerns and Issues

Hi everyone.

I'm very sorry to have to say this because it always means I've let down my patrons.

Due to some issues with the artist there might be a major delay on future and unfinished artwork for the Wizard polls.  I am attempting to make contact and address these issues, but in the meantime I'm not able to provide the promised reward.

I feel awful to have to say this but art might be limited for the time being.  I am currently looking at my options for the future.

Because of this, I'd like to offer a poll on what to do:

1. Discontinue the poll until the issue has been resolved and then batch all the missed polls into one mega poll with multiple winners when artwork is available again.

2.  Continue the monthly poll,  knowing that the rewards are going to be delayed until later.

If required, I may have to temporarily find an artist who is willing to work on the backlog and future backlog of artwork.

If you are a Wizard tier back, please comment below with your opinion.  I wanted to open this poll to all backers, but it is your reward specifically so your voice should have a lot of weight in this decision.

Again, I apologize for this.  I didn't want for it to come to this but it has.
