I work in manufacturing in the US and most of our suppliers are increasing prices or outright charging a flat percentage they call "tarrif fees", which will ultimately trickle down to the consumer to foot the bill for. It's essentially imposing more taxes on us without calling it taxes. Almost every manufacturing industry in the US relies on imported goods of some type. Companies aren't going to invest to bring work back here, they'll just charge us more and we'll pay it.
