Correct with a big caveat. The Fed DEFINITELY enriches banks and Wall Street, especially in the post GFC era. Among other things, the Fed prints money to buy “assets” held by financial institutions to prop them up when they would otherwise collapse from taking on too much risk. The Wall St execs keep the profits from prior years, before their bets proved unwise, and those profits are never clawed back.

Long story short: The Fed Reserve just lowers interest rates to stimulate economy during recessions. They are run independently, but they are part of the gov. They don’t enrich banks; they inject money into the system by (effectively) loaning it to the US Treasury. This, in turn, lowers interest rates. Not a conspiracy. CNN and Fox are gay but they are not part of a big conspiracy. They are just catering to two opposing tribes of voters. That’s it.
