Chris Monroe

Chris Monroe is a controversial character in 'A Perfect Marriage.'  He's lusted for Anna Parker since the minute he first met her... and it continues to this day, no matter that she's married to his best bud and had a baby with him.

While preying on Anna's kindness and naivety, Chris was able to worm his way into becoming a friend to her... a confidant for her... someone who can relate to her about her husband and his tendencies.

Anna trusts Chris now and believes their friendship is genuine, so she's let her guard down.  This has enabled Chris to sneak his way into getting to know her more intimate side, and he hopes he can push the right buttons to make her succumb to her hidden lust... all behind her husband's back.  It's a devious plot, no doubt.

So, are you pulling for Chris in his quest to corrupt Anna?  Are you taking a wait-and-see approach?  Or do you loathe Chris and hope he fails miserably?

"So then for the character she cheats with, because I'm invested in the couple I want simultaneously to be both cheering for his failure, and deep down cheering for him to succeed." Exactly my feeling. The better and realistic a relationship is, the hotter the cheating is. But the more lovable the couple, the more bad I feel letting them being cheated on, the more I want to protect them. As a result, I mostly go with a middle ground, if possible, in my first playthrough: No complete cheating, but a lot of almost cheating. When I am not so invested anymore in the second or third playthrough, I like to get more evil and let them cheat completely. That's why I am missing an option in the vote: I want both ways to be possible, depending on my previous choices.

Wow, this is a landslide. I didn’t expect it’d be this large of a difference. Maybe I won’t kill off Chris in v0.4 after-all? Jk

It's not so much that I'm pulling for chris, but I am pulling for Anna's corruption. lol So I guess the pulling for chris option is the closest thing to that.

I'm really hoping Chris ups his game, and starts pushing and testing Anna even more. Also hoping Anna starts responding and giving in to his advances even more, slowly not being able to resist him any more, and Anna starts having fantasies about what it would be like sleeping with Chris.

Thanks for sharing your info. I have no doubt in the developer's ability to create remarkable stories. Would you please mention some of those stories' names or links here? I really like to follow them too.

I'm much more interested in the people at Anna's work attempts to derail the perfect marriage. The vengeful woman particularly.

Pulling for Chris is one of the reasons I am here, I followed you and your stories on literotica and waited 2 years for you to finish the story leading up to Chris and Anna. I realize this not exactly the same story but also do not expect it to be rated PG either. You have written some great stories with excellent imagination, I'm sure this will turn out as addicting.

Who would hate Chris? His simpdom is legendary.

I would like to see more of Chris's path; however, I hope there is a path to save the couple as well.

I wouldn't say I liked Anna's boss; however, Mr.Plamer's approach to the boss's attitude of seeking Anna's submission instead of blackmailing her made it appealing.

I've been conflicted on the character since I first saw him in the original story. I have a slightly different taste than probably most people who get into cheating/NTR stories. First, I want to truly care about the couple. The more invested in them I am, the more effective the betrayal is. A wife/gf doing nothing but reading every night and ignoring the mc then "oh hey she's cheating" is kind of boring. So then for the character she cheats with, because I'm invested in the couple I want simultaneously to be both cheering for his failure, and deep down cheering for him to succeed. I'm not sure how you get there but i suppose it's in the buildup and tension. I definitely like Chris more than the boss character. Right now for me, there is no desire to see him (boss) succeed at all.

Honestly, I’ll end up doing different play throughs to see how the story develops but it’ll be interesting to see if Chris is successful or not.
