TOTW 1 Breakdown

Every one of us knows about TOTW 1 Investments. They are pretty popular, especially because of Valencia IF from FIFA 18, who rose from 240k to 830k within a few months!

Generally, TOTW Investments work really well because of their very low supply, also most of the people don’t have the coins to buy good/meta informs that’s why they rise after a few weeks/months even more.

I’m going to show you now some examples and will also explain why they rose as much in such a short time.

Example I

Explanation: Mane got a very useful position change especially his pace is just amazing for the striker position. The supply wasn’t really high at the start of FIFA 20, but the demand got every week higher and the people were able to buy Mane with  their coins, in comparison at the start, where nearly no one has coins!

Other Example: Mertens IF

Mane rose from 475.000 to 1.279.000 in less than 2 months!

Example II

Explanation: The stats of Delaney’s card were pretty decent for the start, he was very popular and his price was also not really high so a lot of people were able to buy them for their starter squad. That’s why he rose. Popularity, Meta & pretty cheap!

Other Example: Malen IF

Delaney rose from 29.000 to 85.000 in less than 1 month!

What I definitely wouldn’t recommend

Investing in high rated but cheap TOTWs. Last year I saw a few traders who advised to invest in cheap high rated TOTWs, but this makes absolutely no sense. 

We learned at the start is every coin valuable, do you want to invest in a player, you can play and will rise definitely, or do you want to invest in a cheap high-rated TOTW which is useless for you?

Of course, the first and you have to consider that these cheap high-rated TOTW’s will only rise when EA releases good valuable SBCs! In FIFA 20 we got the first valuable SBC where the fodder rose a lot a few months after release.

Example: Laurent Koscielny

These cheap high rated SBC fodder rose after plenty of months. Not worth it.

So, what you should’ve learned:

Invest in playable TOTWs from TOTW 1-3 instead of cheap high-rated Fodder TOTW’s.

These playable TOTWs will rise for sure with the upcoming Weekend League and they have a much more rise potential than these Fodder TOTWs. You’re also dependent on EA when they release a valuable SBC…
