Good news + Roadmap Update for July/August

Hey!

This is gonna be a bit of a long one. Besides the Roadmap, I also have some good news to share! At the end of this post you'll find a TLDR summary but I'd encourage everyone to read the whole thing if you find the time! But let's get straight to the topic you probably came here for:

The Roadmap for July/August

As you know, the last album became a 123 pic behemoth and took much longer than I wanted. So I already announced that next months album is going to be smaller and the return of Kendall's new "podcast" series called: Between Two Girls - Episode 2.

So next month, between then 5th and 7th you can expect a 30-40 pic album with- and without dialogue of this "Postcast" featuring Kendall and the Dongler - with Melanie as a special guest! (The image attached to this post will be the first pic of the album.)

Considering the circumstances and small size of the album, there won't be a first half release this time, but I'll post some previews along the way for Supporter Tier's & higher starting tomorrow - and there will also be a few extra images after.

Out of fairness here again a disclaimer: I want to keep my promise of keeping story content (like these podcasts) free for everyone. So eventually, this Episode will land on my website to read in low resolution. The public however won't get a download link and will be able to see these pics with text-overlay only. So Patrons still have the 4k version and the version without text as a benefit. I'll also delay the public release by at least a month in hope to make it a fair deal for everyone.

The Loyalty Reward for next month will be a small set and addition to Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - and will feature Allison in the glory hole room, posing with the cocks! There was a lot of positive feedback about her appearance at the end and the outfit she wore, so I'm happy to extend on that a little! You can expect between 5-10 pics to be released on the 2nd of July!

The album that follows in August will feature Kendall and the Dongler again. If you look past "Between Two Girls", we haven't had a proper album with Kendall for quite some time now, so I hope you're looking forward to that! More details and previews will follow after the Between Two Girls release.

Good news!

I was finally able to afford a new graphics card, namely the RTX 3090! What might not sound like a big deal for many, is a pretty significant deal for me and my work.

Not only is the new GPU faster and will make render-bottlenecks something of the past - but it will also improve my workflow quite a bit. So far I had to put a lot of effort into optimizing scenes as too many assets, too many lights or textures being too large made it impossible for me to render scenes in any reasonable amount of time.

This was due to the VRAM amount of my old graphics card (it had 11GB), The new GPU comes with 24GB so more than double. For example, the whole scene of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun took up 10GB of VRAM, meaning any more characters or assets in that scene could've made it impossible for me to render (in a reasonable amount of time). This should no longer be a limiting factor.

This will also mean that I don't have to compress textures that much anymore, especially in environmental scenes. Meaning you should eventually, especially in new scenes, see more detail in environmental assets and I'll be able to display bigger or more complex scenes without too much of a struggle.

What this new GPU doesn't necessarily mean is faster releases or more pictures per release. It does render faster but that doesn't mean I can work that much faster - so the bottleneck is still me. However, there probably won't be any situations anymore where albums get delayed because I have to re-render a bunch of stuff, as theses issues can now be solved significantly faster. Extra images should now also not take any more than 4 days, even if there are much more to render than usual.

I'll now also be able to render out animations much more easier. It's still horribly clunky to animate in DAZ and I'll have to learn a whole new software if I want to get to a point where I can release animations regularly - but my GPU won't be the limiting factor anymore for making that step. But still, doing a small animation in DAZ, as a Loyalty Reward for example, would be much more feasible now than it was before.

There are many other smaller benefits than the ones mentioned, but those are mainly related to my workflow. So to sum up the biggest up-side of this change: I'm the main bottleneck now. Album release-delays due to render-issues should be a thing of the past now.

Thank you for reading, hope you're looking forward to the future!
