August Update and Plans

Okay, as of Thursday last week, I am unemployed.

Now, the good news overall is that in 30 days I can reapply and get my job back. And it's like a 100% chance of getting it given the way my supervisors spoke.

Also, thanks to how money fell into place, I got all my bills basically paid save This months rent (not due till end of month). So, I can and will be taking this time to do my own thing...

This means more streams, more sketches, more everything.

I don't know about tomorrow, but Tonight starting how and wednesday for sure at about the same time. Come in, the water is fine. Also, yes, feel free to request a sketch. I probably won't start up till the second hour to warm up, but yeah, patrons get a free quicky sketch tonight X3

Minor update:

First, why yes, I am alive.

I've been one of those lucky ones where my job actually paid me for more then an extra month, but sadly, this next month I'm getting furloughed.

I don't know how much longer my job is going to remain closed. In all technicallity it should probably do so through out the summer with all the bs going on, but it could be as soon as a week or three. Who knows. This whole situation is a mess...

Stream in the morning. Was going to do one tonight, but I want to do some tutorial stuff toward learning some new art tricks as I push myself a little.

I'm back to looking at sticker making for minis. Been working a bit more on my back log of mini sketches toward that. XD (will post some soon)

Still plugging away at my stories. Will be posting a preview of a first chapter (which ever story I finish the first chapter of at least) on friday.

Sorry for the lack of things. 

Holiday thing: something special -is- coming. and it's something brand new for me (which is why it's taking a little longer). partly slowed by work.

Streams?: good news bad news: noise levels have been a bit higher lately, but that is soon to change and things should be getting better. in 2+ days things shift, and I'll have an easier time setting up for stream. Next stream -is- going to be Monday... though exact time tbd...

So, a new magic set is upon us just about. While I’m loving the cards that are coming out, I am a bit bummed that there is really going to be no story at all. All we are getting is these little blurbs that would look better on the back of a trading card. I mean like the old marvel hero ones and what not.

As the year begins, I get used to new tools. Updates to come between now and Monday.

Sorry I missed the monday update. I slept soooo much monday into tuesday morning. Needed pretty bad after actually making a video and then having to work.

Currently still frustrated with WotC not giving us any news on the book. I'm hoping its because they are trying to figure out what to do... And not that they are just straight going to not say anything...

Update!!! Project Verdant Flame

Soooo, for those that don't know: Magic: the Gathering's 'War of the Spark: Forsaken' story is shit.

Weeeell, to be fair, I only know it's shit in one aspect, but it's a super important aspect to me. The short version is that after getting our confirmation of Gruulfriend's canon last book, they didn't just walk it back, they walked it back with a side of bi-phobia. So fuck all that.

Now that said, I first want to say 'sorry'. I didn't post this stuff here first and I really should...

Doing some art, but warning: while I might not, I do feel a little in the mood to be a bit more mature with some of the things I sketch. The bulk of what I'm going to be doing is sfw as I am finishing a commission long over due, but other things might not be so sfw, so picarto rather then twitch XD

Short Update

Sorry its been a while. Things have been... not great. But its all starting to look up. going to be coming back with some streaming sometime during my next weekend (between monday morning and wednesday night).

I'll have a larger update post about things prior to that with some info on plans for the end of the year as well as how next year is looking. The shortest version at the moment is that in the past I kept focused on trying to get something out as soon as possible, but it was hard ...

Sorry for the radio silence the last... Oh god, last month. Super sorry about that.

First, sorry about streams kinda falling through. The last two weeks have been particularly tiring. Summer really does a number on me with all the damn heat. I am a winter person through and through. A bit more summer (and we get some late heat even without climate change, so I'm really looking forward to like late october/november T3T), but then I'll have so much better sleep for the season.

Thought I'd post this amusing wip to you guys. For those not in the know of MtG things, there was a cycle of cards featuring this dude (that if I recall correctly was a world hopping planeswalker) that has the worst luck in the multiverse. The cycle of cards were each a different sort of 'curse'. And all those little things are silly creatures known as 'beebles'. will be finishing this soon. XD

Finally....

Streaming art things for a few hours. This week is going to be full of all different things, got a lot of stuff to work out, but got a lot of sleep so hopefully I can get it all figured out. In the mean time: Rambles and art XD

Okay, so I meant to do a stream on Monday. That plan fell through when I crashed hard. The plan is still to do more streams, but I really need to figure out the best times for them. Having little ups and downs the last week, like microcosms of heavier depressive episodes I have had in the past. Nothing terrible just... kinda wonky feeling...

Still, going to stream later tonight. Was going to do it yesterday, but ended up unfocused and staring at an anime all night till I slept. But the good news is I did sleep. X3 So stream yes. Depending on what my girlfriend and I do in a couple of hours here is when the start time is. Most likely its going to be between 10 and 1...

Dreadnought sketch

Yeah, again with this character that isn't mine. But kinda surfing a wave at the moment. So figure I would use this as a chance to work on a few things. Actually kinda proud of how well the nose came out.

Those who know the story might find it odd that she looks so old (she is in her teens in the story and looks like a full adult here) but.... LOOK OVER THERE *points then hides under a pile of minis*

Dreadnought

So, recently got into a book series by April Daneils, the Nemesis series. The main is a trans girl named Danielle who gains the powers of one of the biggest names in the biz, Dreadnought and the fallout of that event. It's really good, the first two books are out: Dreadnought and Sovereign. Still working through the second one myself right now.

This image is technically a touch of a spoiler, but it's such a good moment, I can't help but to draw it. XD
