More of the updates to the battle UI
Added 2021-05-27 06:00:24 +0000 UTC- When enemies use special attacks it can be broadcast at the top of the screen
- Text pop-ups when adding and removing status effects
- Actions show their MP cost at the bottom
I also want to add tooltips to show what the actions do and rework the way they are displayed since there will be too many to show on screen and it's already cluttered.
I have character abilities split up into skills and magical spells. I was thinking of maybe making the skills work off a some different kind of system like stamina points/tech points or a limit gauge but I'm not sure how it'll work yet.
I noticed a couple bugs while recording, like the damage numbers stop appearing on the player characters and also Hero got an insane crit because his attack is much higher than expected (even with the buffs) so I have to look into that.
