Chapter 11 Progress Update

Gary has finished all the animations and sent them over. I still need to create a few renders so I can properly integrate them into the game. After that, I'll write the dialogue and hook everything up in the code. I’m planning to start on that tomorrow—so it won’t be much longer until i can send the first half of Chapter 11 to my proofreader!
You can already see in the image above which characters are “involved” in the animations. 😉

this is the only game id play just for the story i have said that multiple times but most newcomers wont waste time if the games start not having porn scenes in it. you gotta throw atleast 1 in there lol. id play it either way but there a nice bonus specially since ive grown attached to all the charecters. be proud you legit got people here who just want to see the story on a porn game! that is no easy accomplishment. what there actually saying is they need more story asap which means they got hooked just like me lol .....out of curiousity you think youll ever do a nael scene? i cant even picture her being into the dirty but hey people are different behind closed doors.

That way, I can focus more on the story and have more time to write. Plus, the animation quality improves significantly—because let’s be real, I’m not a great animator. The only downside is that I need to pay someone to do it. But thanks to your support on Patreon, that’s actually possible now—so thank you for that. As for cutting back or removing the NSFW scenes entirely—that’s a hard no from me. I want to include at least two NSFW scenes per chapter, one in each half. Why? Because of you. I ran a Patreon-only survey for those who are affected by the release of the halfchapter, asking them if they wanted the first half of the chapter released immediately (without the NSFW scene, since Gary hadn’t signed on yet), or if they preferred to wait—however long it might take—for the scene to be included. Guess what? 95% said they’d rather wait. That’s totally fair. NSFW scenes are a core part of AVNs, and Companion of Darkness is no exception. And just to be upfront—I’m not open to criticism about the development pace. It’s a bit unfair to call it out like that. I promise I’m working as quickly as I can, but also as long as it takes to make it right.

And currently it is also bloating your release schedule. Seriously, check for yourself, 1st year of development, read your own posts and releases. You was more into story and setting. I'm may be only one, who feels that way, but seriously, let it go. Go for a plot again, for character development, setting, conflicts, fights, etc. Your H-part of game was passable from start, really, so let it be. You can just make it even couple renders to make a point. And that s it. I will be fine. I'm here for a story. There is plenty beautiful animated porn for free without any meaning of it in net. So, please, focus more on plot. Do not go where "Subverse" fallen, and many more less notable. Do not give in this corruption of porn making. Porn in AVN is not the main dish, novel is. "Adult" is also not just copulation scenes. It is also bloody fights and hard themes. You got it. Crime and punishment. Nihilism Arsael, responsibilities of Noel and Nael, Means and costs of humanity of Claire and Gab. Alien core essences Tessah, Ren, and Dia? Goals, schemes and costs of everyone above. Go for it. I will wait. Thank you.
