Part 4: Christmas Vacation
Chapter 14
The early morning ray of the sun started to peek over the horizon, as a sign that it was the start of a new day. As if on command, Jason woke up from his seated position by Jennifer's bed. Old habits die hard, as he wished that he could sleep in, but every time he thought of that, an old voice filled his mind.
“Whoever is first in the field and awaits the coming of the enemy, will be fresh for the fight; whoever is second in the field and has to hasten to battle will arrive exhausted.”
A quote from Sun Tzu, that his old mentor would sometimes say. If you are not to get jumped that day, wake up earlier and prepare for the fight at hand. And while Jason was no longer in prison, he was always ready for a fight that might come his way. He was about to get up when he finally noticed that there was a weight on his leg. He looked down and saw Lila using his thigh as a pillow. She was slightly snoring, like she was having a pleasant dream. To Jason, she looked peaceful, despite everything that happened the other night. Then Lila started to stir from her sleep, being disturbed by Jason's movements.
She slowly woke from her sleep, taking her a few moments to realize that she wasn't in her room, or her bed. Then the realization set in, that she was in her daughter's room, and that she slept on something hard, and warm. It was Jason's lap; sometime during the night, she dozed off and slept on Jason's lap, using it as a warm pillow. Redness filled her cheeks, as she realized what she had done, and quickly sat up. That seemed to catch his attention, as he now looked at her.
“You’re up.”
“Ah, yeah, I’m up,” Lila said, not knowing what to say at that moment.
“Well I better get up, and make some coffee.”
But before Jason did, Lila shot out her hand, and stopped him. “Wait,” she asked, in a low voice, trying to not wake her daughter.
"I wanted to thank you for saving my daughter. I wanted to say something last night, but Jenn kinda beat me to the punch. But still, thank you, Jason. Thank you for fighting for her, even when she wasn't your daughter. Thank you for taking us in, when you could have just as easily turned your back on us. Thank you for giving us clothes, and food, even though you haven't asked for anything in return. I should have been thanking you every day, but I didn't, because I was afraid of you. I still am, if I am being honest, but still, that doesn't change how grateful I am. Thank you."
Jason just sat there, while he listened as Lila spoke her thanks. It was weird for him to listen to her while she thanked him. It was a new feeling that he hadn't had in a while, or felt from another person— gratitude. He had never once felt gratitude from another person in a long time; it was a strange feeling for him. Then he felt her wrap her arms around his neck, and she pulled him in close to her. He had no idea what was going on, or what she was doing. Was she going for a hug? Was she making him look at her? But all questions were answered, when he turned at the last second, and their lips accidentally touched.
Lila wanted to show her appreciation towards Jason, so she wanted to plant a kiss on Jason's cheek. But as she drew him in closer, she closed her eyes and waited until his cheek was near. That was a mistake because if she had kept her eyes open, she would have seen Jason turning his head, as he wondered what she was doing. Their lips met, and a shockwave filled both of their bodies. Jason was expecting something that he hadn't felt in years, the soft lips of a beautiful woman. As for Lila, as soon as their lips met, her body heated up on instinct and her heart, actually skipped a beat, from the sensual contact. The kiss only lasted for about a second, but for them, it felt like an eternity.
Red-faced, and completely embarrassed, Lila ripped herself from Jason's firm lips and turned away.
"Sorry, it was supposed to be a peck on the cheek," Lila said, while trying to keep her heart rate down. She had never felt that way when she kissed a man before. She couldn't tell if it was from embarrassment, or something else.
"It's all right, accidents happen… Well, I better go start making some breakfast."
Jason slowly got up from the floor, his bones ached and popped, from the fighting at the frat house. They popped so loud, that even Lila could hear them. With a bit of a limp, Jason made his way quietly out of the door.
"Jason, wait," she said, trying to keep her voice down. "Could you possibly make those blueberry pancakes of yours? Even though she doesn't say it, Jenn loves your pancakes, and it might help her to eat something that's comforting to her."
“Sure, anything else?” he asked.
“Maybe that special coffee Ronnie buys for you, We could use some of that.”
Jason nodded and went downstairs. First to do some stretches to help loosen up his body, then to take on the role of cook for five women who are currently in his house. While Jenn and Lila were sleeping in Jennifer's room, Ronnie and Sarah decided to stay for the night. Mostly because they wanted to be there for Jenn when she woke up, plus it was too late to be driving at night. While they did have the extra rooms for Sarah to sleep in, they were not turned down, so Lily gave Sarah her room, while Lily and Ronnie took Lila's room. Ronnie felt a little weird sleeping in bed with another grown woman, but Lily was persistent. Also Lily wanted someone to hold her, while she worried about her niece. Despite Ronnie's initial reluctance, she found holding Lily while sleeping, quite pleasing. She always thought Lily was beautiful, and so was Lila. At one point, she thought they were twins. To Ronnie's shame, as she drifted off to sleep while holding Lily close to her, she had a vivid wet dream with Lily and her sister.
Lily, and Ronnie both woke up to the smell of sizzling bacon and drifted through the kitchen and up the stairs. One by one, they made their way down the stairs and filled their bellies. Lila came down and stacked plates of pancakes for both her and her daughter. Sarah also came down, but she only opted for the fruit salad mix, and coffee. She made sly glances at Jason, trying to see the best opportunity to make her move; she still couldn't believe that Jason took out all those guys for her friend. Ronnie, on the other hand, was busy outside making phone calls to colleagues, and cops that she knew. She wanted updates on the investigation into the Alpha Beta members. The news had done reports on the house, but was vague on the details; saying that there was still an open investigation into the frat house, and the wanderer that attacked them.
Jason’s little disguise worked, since no one could identify him, plus with the social media post, and the phone call to 911, they couldn't cover it up. Still, Ronnie was furious at how slow, and how limited the information was. She saw Jennifer as her daughter, and she wanted the men that were about to hurt her to pay.
"Ha. Still, they tell me nothing. You would think a house full of rapists would warrant more manpower. But according to my sources, they are more focused on the guy who beat up the entire football team," Ronnie said, exasperated at the stupidity of the police department, as she stormed into the kitchen grabbing another coffee, that Jason poured out for her.
"That doesn't surprise me. The guy said that they had powerful backers. I wouldn't be surprised that they are pulling more strings to turn their investigation," Jason said to Ronnie, like he didn't care what they did, because he knew he had the smoking gun.
"Why do you sound like you are not worried? They could imprison you for assault. You will be back in jail," this time, it was Lily who spoke up worried for Jason's well-being.
"Because I have evidence that would put everyone involved in that house in jail. Including all of those powerful benefactors."
"You're telling me that you had this evidence on these assholes, and you didn't bother to tell me, or the police," Ronnie said, swearing toward Jason for the first time.
“We did leave something for the police to find, but as for my copy, it’s in your email,” Jason informed them.
Ronnie quickly looked through her phone, and sure enough, there was an unread email from Trent's email account. On it was a complete backup of Trent's phone. Ronnie quickly scrolled through the files, and her stomach churned at the sight of them.
“You're telling me that this is everything that the guy had,” Ronnie said, trying to settle her stomach.
"Yeah, so tell me, is that enough to burn them all down?" Jason asked, as he began to clean the dishes.
"Oh, this is more than enough to burn them down, that there would be nothing but ashes. Let me save a copy and I'll send this to a detective I know, and trust. Once she sees this, she is like a bulldog. She won't let it go," Ronnie said, with a fiery stare in her eyes, as she forwarded the email.
"You will do that for us, V?" Lila asked, as soon as she came down the stairs with empty plates, having heard everything that Jason and Ronnie were saying.
“Of course, Lu. Jennifer is like a daughter to me. And I want to see those bastards burn for doing that to her. With everything that Jason has on them, it would be a slam dunk,” Ronnie reassured her friend.
And to everyone's surprise, Lila jumped into Ronnie’s arms and gave her a big hug.
"Thank you," she said, in a soft tone, while also looking at Jason, making sure he saw her thanks.
"It's no problem, Lu. So how's she doing?"
Taking a deep sigh, she told it as it was. "She is still shaken up by all of it. She told me that they didn't do anything, thank god for that— but she was still a bit guarded… God, I wish we could just go away. Go far away and put all of last night behind us, even for a little bit.”
“Lu, I may have an idea for that. You know, a getaway, a vacation,” Ronnie explained, as she had the perfect place in mind. The only problem is, whether or not Jason would go for it.
“What are you talking about? A getaway?” Lila asked.
“Yeah. When Jason got this house, he also got a few other properties around the country. One of which is a large oak cabin in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It's located on a mountain resort, and at this time of year, it is a beautiful place to be. If it’s all right with Jason, we could go over there, for the rest of Christmas vacation. A nice getaway for you, Jenn, and whoever wants to go.”
"Ronnie, a mountain resort?" This time, Lily's interest piqued.
"Yes, and since Jason now owns the cabin, he and his guest have access to all the resort features. Like skiing, the spa, five-star restaurants, and everything else in between."
"Wow, that sounds amazing," Lily exclaimed, as she had never once skied in her life, but had always wanted to.
“Yeah, it does.” Then Lila looked at Jason, hoping he would go for it. “Well Jason, what do you say? Can we use your cabin, at least for a week, maybe two, until Jennifer is feeling better?”
Jason just stood there contemplating what to do. "If we do go, how do we get there?" he asked.
"Well, luckily for us, my firm has its private jet that they use for clients. It helps them travel to where they are, including Jackson Hole. I'm sure if I request the plane, we could use it, all you need to do is pay for fuel. As for the cabin, I'll just call ahead, and have the resort staff have it ready when you arrive. New bed sheets, towels, a fully stocked kitchen, and other amenities that you need. So what do you say, Jason, are you in?" Ronnie asked, hoping he would go for it.
"Sure, why not. I will have to see the property anyway, so this just gives me an excuse to see it now. Ronnie, prepare for all of those who want to go, including yourself," Jason said, as he noticed the shock and glee on Ronnie's face.
“Really? You want me to come along?” she asked.
"Yeah, I will need your help navigating me, and everyone else while we are there," Jason explained.
“Can I come, too? I always wanted to see a ski resort. Plus, I want to be there for my best friend,” Sarah jumped in, hoping to tag along
“Honey, are you sure, what about your mother?” Lila asked, unsure if to bring her along.
"You know how she is. I'm sure if I left for a week, she wouldn't even notice, probably," she said somberly, wishing she had a more caring mother like Jennifer was with hers.
“Okay, but only if it's okay with Jason, and you make sure you tell your mother where you are going, and that you are with us.”
"Well, Mr. Solace, can I come, as well? I promise I'll behave," she batted her eyelashes toward him.
“Sure. Ronnie, make the preparations.”
“Yes, sir. I'll have them ready as soon as possible. Most likely, tomorrow morning we depart, unless something changes. By the way, I suggest buying winter, and snow wear. It gets pretty chilly up there,” Ronnie explained, as she began to make the phone calls.
“Yay, another shopping trip,” Lily jumped in the air, as she couldn’t wait to buy something sexy to wear for Jason.
Everyone, including Jennifer, went to the mall for another round of clothes shopping. Jason, of course, paid for everything, with the promise that they would pay him back. The ladies decided to go with neon-colored snow wear, each one going with a different color, while Jason opted for the standard black snowsuit. They also bought themselves snow pants, snow shoes, thermal clothes, and everything else in between. Jason couldn't believe how expensive snow wear could be. Especially when you only wear it for certain times out of the year. But one of his greatest purchases was a Shearling duster coat that reminded him of the duster that K wore in the ‘Blade Runner’ movie— one of the few movies that he watched while in prison. He loved the way it felt, and according to Lily and Sarah, it made him look dashing and tough.
The rest of the day went by pretty quickly after the shopping trip. Ronnie did secure the plane for their travel and was also informed the cabin would be ready when they arrived in the morning. Sarah did tell her mother about the trip, and after a bit of a heated argument, she got the go-ahead to travel; went back to her place, packed a bag, and made her way back to Jason's house. With everybody back at the house, including Ronnie and her travel bag, everyone slept in peace. Jennifer still slept with Shea in her room, while Lila slept right next to her. Ronnie and Lily decide to sleep in the same bed together, while Sarah took one of the spare rooms. Jason always slept in his room.
The next day, at the brink of dawn, everyone made their way to the local airfield, where their private jet waited. It was a luxury ‘G-Five’ airplane, that was as opulent, as it was expensive. Everyone piled into the plane, took their seats, and awaited takeoff. Shea had a tough time while being in a confined space while moving, but a few simple commands from Jason, and she was right as rain.
The flight only took a couple of hours, so when they landed at the airfield that was close to the resort, the sun barely shone through the mountain range. White blankets of snow were as far as the eye could see. Jennifer, Sarah, and even Lily, squealed in delight as they saw more snow in one area than they had previously seen in their lives. They even ran into a snow pile and made a few snow angels, and threw a few snowballs, just having the time of their lives. That seemed to bring a smile to Jason and Ronnie's faces, but as for Lila, she was shivering from the cold. Even with the extra layers of thermo clothing, she still shook.
At the airfield, there awaited two Lincoln Navigator SUVs, to take them to Jason's cabin. It was about an hour's drive, but once they got there, all the women were in awe of the large oak cabin. It was a two-story house with a large bay window that went all the way to the ceiling, showing the million-dollar view of the snowy mountain ranges. It had all the amenities that they would need to spend the week or so there. Fully stocked kitchen, large steam room, four master-size rooms, and a large fireplace that gave it that homey feeling. It also had a large, twelve-foot Douglas fir Christmas tree, that made the whole cabin smell like Christmas. Ronnie thanked the drivers for unloading their luggage and was surprised that they left one of the Navigators for them to drive around town, and the resort.
While everyone tried to look for their rooms, a problem occurred, six people in four rooms. In the end, Jason opted for the large sofa that looked like it could sit ten people. The women protested and said that they would gladly double up in a room so he could have one for himself. He said no, and told them that a couch was more than fine. That he would get better sleep if he slept in one. This was true since he had a hard time sleeping in such a large bed, even back home. In the end, they all relented, and let Jason sleep on the couch. Ronnie, Sarah, and Lily got their rooms, while Lila and Jennifer shared the largest room. Lila wanted to be near her daughter in her time of need.
After everyone was settled in, they made their way to Snow King Mountain Resort. It was what Jason expected for a high-end resort. Pricey lounge, with even-pricier beer. The clientele was also less than desirable for Jason's taste. Silicon Valley millionaires, Wall Street sharks, and trust-fund kids, with more money than sense in the world. There were trophy wives and mistresses, with more silicon than a dildo-making factory. The true sense of opulence and sumptuousness, for anyone that was there, and Jason and his party were right in the middle of it.
Jason didn't want to spend too much time there, so he led them to the ski and snowboard rental shop. While everyone was looking for the right gear with help from Ronnie, who had gone skiing before, Jason found the clerk and paid for their rental fees, and skiing lessons. Everyone looked ridiculous while holding their gear, as they made their way outside to the kiddie slopes.
They screamed newbies, to all the avid skiers and regulars of that resort. The girls didn't notice, but Jason did, especially a trio of trust-fund brats that were eyeing Ronnie and Sarah, since they were the only members of the group that were more endowed, that even their full ski jackets couldn’t hide— Ronnie’s large DD breasts, and Sarah's phat ass. He also noticed that several were commenting on Lila, Lily, and Jennifer, saying that they all looked so much alike, that they could be sisters. One guy in particular said that he would pay top dollar for a wild foursome with all three. He just didn't know that while he was saying that, Jason was right next to him. Each one of them was very excited with every single one of Jason's girls. So when it came time to leave, all five women turned to Jason with happy smiles, causing several of the men's faces to drop, showing that they had been taken, and all by one man.
For the next hour, everyone in Jason's group was being taught the fundamentals of skiing, and mountain safety, by an uppity college girl, named Kami, short for Kamilah. Jason wasn't too good with the skis, so he sat that one out, and let the others have their fun. Since it was not Ronnie's first time on skis, she breezed through all the beginner lessons. Lily and Sarah had a much tougher time in the beginning, but once they got their footing, they managed to stay upright without falling. Jennifer, on the other hand, realized that skiing was not for her, so once she switched to snowboarding, she was running circles around the others. Jason would later find out that in her younger years, Jennifer went through a tomboy phase, and would run with kids at the skatepark.
While all four of them ran laps around the beginner slopes, Jason stood at the edge of the path, watching them have fun. Alongside him was Lila, who opted out of skiing on the declaration that she was freezing, even though she had extra layers on. She was breathing hard on her mitten-covered fingers trying to bring warmth back into them, all the while Jason stood still, seeming unaffected by the weather.
“How in the fuck, are you not freezing?” she asked, with a slight stutter in her voice.
"I just have a stronger will than most people," he said with a bit of an amused smile, shocked that Lila would curse at him. As it turned out, when Lila was uncomfortable, or in severe distress, she would forgo politeness, and go cursing like a sailor.
"And these hand warmers I have in my boots and pockets," Jason said, with a smug grin.
"Hand warmers, you're telling me that you had fucking hand warmers this entire time," she said, flabbergasted that he didn't offer her any.
"Yeah, and if you want, I could... HEY!" Jason yelped out, as Lila jumped at him and shoved her hands deep into his pockets.
She sighed, as her mittened hands found warmth. Basking in the feeling of warmth flowing back into her fingers, all the while oblivious to the fact that she was standing too close to Jason. They stood there for a few minutes, gathering the eyes of a few weary travelers.
“Ah, you know I have extras, if you want any,” he said, as he pulled out a small stack of hand warmers for both boots and hands, still packaged in plastic.
Breaking the bliss of finally having warmth in her hands, she finally blinked and realized how close she was to Jason. Then just as quickly as she forced her hands into Jason's pocket, she quickly yanked them out.
Blushing from ear to ear, she apologized for her actions and thanked Jason for the offer. But when she went to retrieve the offered item, instead of one, she grabbed the whole stack and began tearing them open. Shoving them inside various jacket pockets to not only warm her hands but various parts of her body. She sighed in relief as warmth flooded her body. Jason only chuckled at the sight, finally realizing how much Lila hated the cold.
He didn't say anything afterward; he just continued to watch over the girls as they kept going up and down the beginner's slope. Everything seemed right in the world, until a commotion broke out, by the employee side entrance.
“Hey! If you walk away right now, then you're fired!” yelled an angry man, who looked to be the manager.
"Yeah, fool, then who cares. I didn't spend seven years working for this shit. I have ambitions. So FUCK YOU!" the man yelled, as he threw his apron at the manager, showing everyone how fed up he is with the job, and how angry at the world he was.
Lila couldn't help looking at Jason, when she heard that man mention prison. Forgetting sometimes that he just came out of an eighteen-year sentence. Then, she started to wonder why Jason hadn’t shown his fits of rage or anger. Especially, when he was sent to prison for something he didn't even commit. She was about to ask him about that, but was interrupted by Lily.
"Boy, what a show," she said, as she looked at the public fight between the ex-con and the manager.
Jason and Lila turned around and saw everyone was back from the slopes, tired and red-faced from all the fun they had.
“Yeah, well let's forget about them. Now come on, I need something to warm up,” Sarah commented, as she was starting to shiver.
That seemed to gather the attention of the rest of the group because they all noticed that they, too, could use something hot to drink. So one by one, they all stored their skis and snowboards on the racks outside, and made their way to the lounge area. It was the same as they first entered, except that the three trust-fund kids had set up a little poker table at the corner edge of the lounge. Jason didn't pay too much mind to it, that was until he noticed that the kids were doing some funny business with the cards. Not one moment later, a large man in a cowboy hat yelled out and stormed off. Furious that he just lost close to seventy-five grand to the trust-fund trio. Jason paid them no mind, until one of the trio called for him.
"Hey you, the guy with all the chicks hanging around you. Wanna play?" the kid with the Harvard sweater yelled out, toward Jason.
"Yeah, come on, you look like a guy who knows how to play," said another one, only this time, he had white frosted-tip hair.
Jason contemplated this for a moment, about to decline, until the third member of the group spoke up.
"Yeah, come on, man, and bring us some of that arm candy with you. I'm sure they could get quite lonely being all by themselves. Don't worry, we have some warm laps for them to sit on."
That seemed to put Jason over the edge, so he agreed to join them. Only so that he could teach them some manners, and put them in their place. For the next thirty minutes, they pretty much played a straight game, where Jason was pretty much winning. But he knew it was a lure, make your mark comfortable by letting him win. Then when he is invested, you up the ante and suddenly, that person's luck can go the wrong way. Jason had seen this con before, while he was locked up; it was a classic card hustle, but unbeknownst to the three trust-fund kids, Jason was well ahead of them, and was ready to flip the hustle onto them.
"Fuck, another full house. Damn, Archer, you are certainly on a roll," the Harvard shirt guy said, using the alias Jason had given them.
"What can I say, I feel extremely lucky today," Jason said, trying to come off as arrogant, showing that he was having a blast. Then the up ante came into play, something Jason was expecting.
“You know what? I need to make some money back,” Harvard shirt said.
“Yeah, with what money?” the frosted-tip guy said.
“Ah, how about this.” He then pulled out a key fob. “These are the keys to my Mercedes SLR McLaren. It retails for about three million. So, does this buy me back in?” he asked, knowing that this was all part of their plan. He didn’t mind using his dad's car, since their con always worked, and they believed that Jason was just an average sucker.
"Oh, I am in. I can't wait to drive that car of yours," the annoying guy in the group said, moving their plan further.
“Sure, but what about the new guy?” asked the frosted-tip guy.
Jason sat there, pretending to think about it, while trying to not seem eager. Then he said, "Sure, I always wanted to drive a Mercedes."
“Okay good, but what do you put up as collateral? I mean this is an expensive car, I am sure you have something of value for us.”
"Ah, well, I don't have a million dollars on me, but what the hell— I am on a hot streak; so tell me, what do you guys want that is fitting for collateral?" Jason asked, just waiting for them to fall into his trap.
"Your women. We want your women," the annoying guy said.
“You want my girls, but which one?” Jason asked, pretending to not like this.
"Well, figuring the value of the car, how about all of them? If you win, you get everything that is in the pot, including the car. But if we win, then we have your girls for the rest of the time you are here. Does that sound good? Don't worry, we will show them a good time," Harvard sweater said.
That just made Jason's blood boil, but he kept his composure.
"I don't know. What about you guys, what are waging for your friend's car? I and he can't be the only ones upping the ante," Jason said to the other two guys, hoping to swindle them out of their fathers’ money.
“All right, all right. As a show of good faith, I'll bet my Rolex. It's no McLaren, but it is worth a hundred grand,” said the frosted-tip guy.
"I don't have anything fancy like a car, or a watch, but I do have this." The annoying guy pulled out a plastic card, with a bitcoin logo on the front. "This thing has some crypto that is priced at almost a hundred thousand dollars. What do you say, would that suffice?" taunting Jason, not realizing that Jason was smiling on the inside.
"I don't know guys, that seems like a lot of money, and I hate for you all to lose it. I mean I am on a hot streak. And besides, five girls just seems too little," Jason said, trying to not look too eager. He wanted the trio to be assured that he was a pushover, and would not back out at the last minute.
"Nonsense, have you seen your ladies, they are a smoke show. And besides, you have a larger pot. So what do you say, are you in? Or are you not man enough for this kind of action," Harvard shirt guy said.
"I think he is. Hey, if he backs out, why don't we make a run for his girls, anyway. I'm sure that they could use a real man to show them a really good time," the annoying guy taunted, trying to hurt Jason's pride.
"Hey, I am man enough. Okay, I am in. You are going to regret going up against me," Jason said, with as much bravado as he could; seeing the glee on the trio’s faces thinking they just won.
“Okay, here we go,” said the Harvard shirt guy, as he dealt the cards, using the hand signals and card mechanics that he and his friends had worked on.
It took a few hands, but Jason caught on, as to what the guys used to cheat. It was a simple card installation and almost-obvious signalling. He did lose a chunk of his money, but he just narrowed in on how to beat them. Then Ronnie and Sarah showed up right beside him.
“There you are, we were looking all over for you,” Ronnie said, as she approached Jason and the trust-fund trio. “So what is going on over here?”
"Well, little lady. Your boy, Archer, here has decided to play us, and he bet all of you girls are part of the pot."
"Archer?" Sarah asked in a confused whisper, but Ronnie stepped in and took the lead in the conversation, since she knew why they called Jason, Archer.
“Is that true? You bet us like some common floozie?”
"He sure did, honey, and it looks like his luck is changing for the worst, but don't worry. We three will give you girls a proper good time. Even more than this boomer that you walked in with," said the annoying guy.
“Is this true?” Ronnie asked Jason.
“Yeah, I kinda bet you all. And it looks like my luck is changing. But don’t worry I will turn it around,” Jason said, as he acted like a beta bitch.
As he spoke to Ronnie, he kept his back on the guys. Ronnie looked down and even though Jason's words held no weight behind them, his eyes told her that he had a plan. They were the same eyes he had when he dealt with the mugger, her ex, and the Alpha Betas. They were the eyes of a man who had a plan, and the will to see it through.
So deciding to play along, she hugged Sarah close to her so she wouldn’t voice her opinion and said, “Okay, fine. But you better win, and when you do, you will buy me something nice. And it better be expensive,” acting like a spoiled, rich, gold-digger trophy wife that her firm always had to deal with.
"Oh, don't worry, babe. When he loses, I will buy you something really expensive. By any chance do you like pearl necklaces?" the frosted-tip guy said, the double entendre was not lost on Jason or any of the guys on the table.
For the next hour, all four of them were playing poker. They were drawing a sizeable crowd, especially of the wager that each of the players threw out. Even the cowboy guy that lost to the trio earlier was there. Ronnie had to explain to the girls what she heard from Jason, and that she believes that he has a plan. They were all apprehensive, more so with Lila and Jennifer, but Ronnie said that they should wait and see. And they were not disappointed in the outcome.
Annoying and frosted-tip guys lost all of their chips, including what they wagered. Luckily for them, their friend, Harvard sweater guy had them and had the most money. They were pissed, since Jason was lasting longer than their normal marks. And the mere fact that Jason still had the chips that represented his girls on his side. The Harvard guy could have cashed out, but he was too invested in the game. Plus, when he saw the William girls standing together, he couldn’t back down since he had always wanted a triplet foursome—so his cock overruled him in backing out. Then with one last draw, he got the final king that gave him a full house.
“You know, it's been fun, but I think it is time to end this. I am all in.”
"All in. You must be bluffing, there is no way you would go all in just like that."
"Maybe I am, or maybe I have the cards. Only one way to find out. So come on, be a man, call, and show these people that you have the balls to do it," the Harvard guy taunted him, knowing with his card mechanic that he had the upper hand, but he needed Jason to make that final all-in move.
“I think you're bluffing. I am all in.”
With all the chips on the table, including the Rolex, the bitcoin card, the key fob to the Mercedes, and all the chips that represented the girls, Harvard shirt showed his hand.
"Read 'em and weep, like a little bitch. Full house, king high," the Harvard guy bounded, earning gasps from around the room.
"Wow, I guess you weren't bluffing. Go figure," Jason said, as he slumped on his chair. But not as a sign of defeat, but glad that the game was over, and he didn't have to deal with the trust-fund trio.
“That's right, I wasn't bluffing. Now, your women are mine.”
"I would hold off on that if I were you. You see, a full house is good. It is really good. But in this case, it is not just good enough." Then, Jason flipped over his cards showing six, seven, eight, nine, and ten—all in spades. "My straight flush trumps your full house."
And just like that, the room filled with gasps that might have started another snow avalanche. The trio sat stunned, not believing what they just saw. They lost, and not only that, they lost big.
"WHAT JUST HAPPENED? HOW DID WE LOSE? WE NEVER LOSE!" shouted the annoying guy, even more, annoying since his voice went up a few octaves.
“You screwed up. You royally screwed up,” said the frosted-tip guy, regretting the fact he bet his family watch.
"How. It was foolproof?" Harvard shirt slumped in his seat, trying to figure out how to explain to his dad how he lost the car. His prized car.
Then to everyone's surprise, Lily and Sarah jumped onto the guy's lap, while Ronnie was right behind the Harvard guy, slowly caressing his shoulders.
"Too bad, fellas, and to think we could have such a nice time together," Lily said, as she rubbed her body on top of frosted-tip guy's lap.
“Yeah. We could have had so much fun,” Sarah said, grinding her large phat ass on top of the annoying guy's lap.
"Yeah, well, better luck next time. See you around," Ronnie teased, loving seeing the three boys being put in their place, while slyly looking at Jason, as her pussy juices started to reach her panties. Then as one, all three girls moved away from them.
"I better have the title to the car by the end of the week." Then, Jason decided to lean a little closer and whispered something only the three could hear. "And if I were you, I'd play a straight game next time. Who knows what will happen if you were caught rigging the deck? Oh, and before I forget, I better not see you guys anywhere near my girls, and you better not cause trouble for any of us. Or else, I might tell a certain cowboy that you swindled him out of his money."
Jason didn't give them time to speak, he just grabbed his chips, and everything else that was in the pot, and headed for the cash-out place.
"Jason, what just happened?" Lila asked, as he sat at the bar.
“Let's just say that those guys think that they could cheat me.”
“So those guys were cheating. How did you know?” Ronnie asked.
"They didn't just arrest murderers and rapists. In lockup, there was a guy who was a professional con man and card mechanic; a guy who can manipulate cards to help favor them. I played with him, and he showed me how to spot a cheat, and how to turn their con against them. The trust-fund brats were using simple-but-effective card manipulation. But I caught it early and I flipped it on them."
"Wow, a great cook, an excellent fighter, super rich, and a card shark. What will you show us next, eh, Jason," Lily mused, as she sauntered over to Jason?
They were about to say something else, until they were interrupted.
"Woo, Doggy. I have never seen a game like that in ages. And I must say, I did love to see you put those snot-nosed brats in their place. Henry Dutton is the name," the cowboy from earlier said, as he stuck out his hand towards Jason.
“Archer,” Jason spoke, as he shook the cowboy’s hand.
"Please meet you, Mr. Archer. If I may, let me buy you a drink."
Jason didn't argue with the kind gesture. As Henry ordered the drinks, he asked Ronnie to go take everyone to the dining area, since it was well past lunchtime.
“Okay, and what do you want for your plate?” Ronnie asked.
“Porterhouse steak, medium well, with a baked potato.”
“Wow a man after my own heart,” Henry joked once he heard Jason order. “I must say you are one lucky bastard for having so many beautiful women hanging all over you like that.”
"Yeah well, treat them right, and in return, they will treat you the same."
“Amen to that, brother. That's the same way with me and my wife. Thirty years and we are still strong,” Henry said, as he handed Jason his drink.
“Speaking of your wife, where is she?”
“Oh, taking care of some business back at home. This was supposed to be our vacation, but what can you do? Lucky she is flying in tomorrow from Texas.”
"Ah, so you are from Texas, as well."
“Wait, where are you from?” Henry asked.
"Houston, just got here today," Jason explained.
"Oh, no wonder I like you. I can sense the cowboy spirit in you. As for me, I am from San Antonio, but we have places all over the state, including a nice little condo at South Padre Island. Maybe if your girls and the wife get along, then who knows? We might get together for a little summer fun."
“You make it sound like we are friends.”
“Well, of course, we are. Us country folk must stick together.”
“All right. Well, since we are friends now, could you tell me if there is a jeweler or watch shop, where I could sell this," Jason said. Holding up the Rolex.
"Well I do know one here, but why sell it, that looks like a fancy piece of watch, right there."
“Too flashy for my taste. More of a TAG Heuer kind of guy.”
“Oh really, you know I have one of those right now. But I must say that Rolex looks better than the one I have.”
“Well then. How about this, an even trade, your watch for mine.”
"No, I can not accept that, besides your watch is worth twice as much as mine. I can't swindle you like that."
“It’s not swindling if I am making the offer. And besides, I like the look of your watch better. Plus, if you are still hesitant about the trade, then how about including the watch, you will also owe me a favor. Sound fair?” Jason asked, while sticking out his hand.
“Sounds fair,” Henry said, while shaking his hand.
“Good, now for that favor.”
From there, Jason explained to the cowboy how he got cheated by the trust-fund brats. He told them how they did it, and what to look out for, so he wouldn’t be fooled by it again.
"Those varmints. I should go teach those boys a lesson in cheating a Texan," Henry almost shouted, and was about to stand up until Jason put a hand on him.
“Not yet, you still owe me that favor.”
"Okay, so what. You want me to teach those guys a lesson? Is that why you told me about the cheating?" Henry asked.
"No, I told you so that when the time comes, you will help me make sure that they don't welch on their bet. Mainly the car. You see they bet daddy's car, and they are going to try to weasel their way out of it. I could tell they are rats. So if they don't do good, or if their father comes to bail them out, then it pays to have someone by my side."
"Okay, I can see why you might need my help. But what if they do pay, what is in it for me?"
“The satisfaction of seeing those boys being put in their place. Plus a fancy gold watch that just so happens to come from them. Might also soften the blow from losing so much money.”
"Oh, so that's why you offered the watch."
“Pretty much, yeah. So what do you say? Do we have a deal?” Jason asked, as he stuck out his hand.
"Boy, my wife is sure going to like you. It’s a deal, but I won't use up your favor. That I will gladly do for free."
And with that, they both shook hands. They both exchanged cards so that they could keep in contact. Jason gave him Ronnie's card, since he didn’t have one of his own. When Henry asked whose name was on the card, he explained that it was his lawyer and that she was the one that took his order.
"Wowee, I wish my lawyer was that pretty. I'm just stuck with a middle-aged bald guy, who can't tell the difference between up and down."
They made their way to the jeweler, who had luckily just gotten back from lunch. They both gave him the watches to be cleaned and bands resized to fit their wrists. With the expected due date at hand, Henry and Jason both went their separate ways, with the promise to meet up again; only this time, with their women.
Lunch was a brief affair; Jason managed to get there right when his food arrived. While the steak was good, it couldn't justify the hundred-dollar price tag. With a tummy full of food, and muscles exhausted for the day, they declared that it was time to head back to the cabin. As they made it to the valet, Jason presented the car keys and ticket stubs for the Navigator, and his new Mercedes SLR, only it wasn't going to be his much longer.
"Wow, Jason. is Is that the car you just won?" Jennifer and Lily asked in glee, as they saw the arctic-silver car with the Mercedes logo, make her way up the driveway.
"That isn't just a car, that is a Mercedes SLR McLaren, one of the fastest cars in their lineup," Ronnie explained, almost breathless, as she looked at her dream car.
“Yup, and it is yours,” Jason said, as he dropped the key fob into Ronnie’s hands.
"Wait? WHAT…!?" She then looked down at the keys, "No, sir—it's too much. I cannot accept this. After all, it's your car; you won it fair and square," Ronnie explained, as she tried to comprehend what was happening.
"Yeah, I did. Which means I can do whatever I want with it. I don't want it, and I don't plan on driving it. So, I will give it to you. Think of it as an end-of-the-year bonus for all your hard work."
“But I can’t. It’s too much.”
Ronnie couldn’t believe what she was saying, she wanted that car, she needed that car, and Jason was giving it to her on a silver platter. Hers to take. Hers to own.
“Okay. Well, if you don’t want it. I could give it to someone—”
“NO! I’ll take it,” Ronnie told him, pulling her hands away from Jason before he took back the key.
Ronnie saw the smirk on Jason's face, and all that made her do was blush profusely. Realizing that it was the reaction that he was looking for.
“Come on, Ronnie. I want to feel how this baby runs,” Lily shouted, as she was at the passenger door, along with Sarah and Jennifer.
Ronnie sped down the highway, loving the feel of the engine as it rumbled in her seat. She wasn't the only one—Lily, Sarah, and Jennifer joined in, as they had squeezed themselves into the car. They all whooped with glee, as Ronnie turned into the private airfield; from where she let the car fly. All the while, with every shift, and every turn, in the back of Ronnie's mind, she pondered on what to do with Jason. After all, what do you do for a man that didn't just give you a car, but got you the ultimate dream car? She pondered this all the way back to the cabin, as the distance grew shorter, her pussy began to grow even more damp.
Ronnie pulled the car into the cabin’s driveway. She and all the other girls had huge smiles on their faces, like they had all seen the magical eighth wonder of the world.
“I take it, you enjoyed the car?” Lila asked, while she waited outside for them to arrive.
“Lu, if I could, I would marry this car right here, right now,” Ronnie cooed, as she ran her hand up and down the warm hood.
"Yeah, mom, her car is sweet. Auntie Ronnie drove it so fast, we all thought we were in NASCAR," Jennifer hummed, as she and Sarah got out of the car.
“Oh really?” Lila asked, showing a look of admonishment.
"Put that look away, sis. Ronnie, here, is an expert driver. And I must say, she knows how to handle that stick shift. Ain't that right, Ronnie," Lily mused, as she saw the little red blush from Ronnie, at the mention of the stick shift. "Speaking of the stick shift. Where is our fearless leader?"
"He is inside, reading one of his books," Lila informed.
"Well, why don't we make our presence known to him; after all, he did win us in a bet."
All five women made their way inside from the frigid cold air of the outside to the warm embrace of the inside. Jason decided to start a fire in the large fireplace that was the focal point of the cabin. As for Jason, he was lying on the couch, sleeping the day away.
“Oh, look at him, he is all tuckered out,” Lily cooed, as they quietly approached the couch.
"You know, looking past the cold, tough-guy exterior of his, he does look pretty cute," Ronnie commented.
“He sure does,” Sarah mused, wondering if she would find some alone time with him.
"Come on, ladies; let the man rest," Lila ordered out. But at the same time, she, too, found Jason’s slumbering form quite cute.

Awesome Chapter….wish it was longer but great job. Can’t wait to see how the frat house aftermath turns out. Especially since Jennifer’s boyfriend can identify Jason.
