The system didn't force anything other than the rules already in place, I mean he mentioned before he went in there saying oh shoot forgot to do my One Punch Man daily. He got so lucky that his battle in that dungeon lasted till midnight, otherwise he would have lost for sure, you see the part when his sister woke up to use the bathroom at just a bit after 3 am so he was already farming the giant Centipedes for over 3 hours. Course I don't even know if it would have killed him it may have just respawned him anyway since it was just a extra trial to see how many extra points he could get probably like those un-winnable quests in games that you earn based on how long you lasted the endurance trial but in a way he cheated because he was in the penalty zone for four hours and the quest counted the extra 4 hours into the bonus point level. I don't think it intended for him to defeat ALL the monsters after Igris. But it was easy after he figured out the trick they were using. especially after he leveled several times while farming in the penalty zone getting full heals after every level. surely you figured it out by now but the ants are evolving by growing wings to be able to travel to other places besides the island they found it in the water a ways before they got to the island! Think the flying dinosaurs that were able to fly to a new continent after the first Jurassic Park! Which is bad news since even the weakest ants were taking out most ranked hunters besides the s ranks easily.
