Am I getting that correct? This is my first time rewatching this so I maybe missed this

Which means it contains all the characteristics of wars - Desperation, morally questionable actions, subterfuge, plans upon plans, and very few people who truly know what's going on. Basically nothing should be taken at face value - Just because someone says something doesn't mean it's true or even that they mean it. Think of potential hidden meanings or intentions. The train scene is an example of this, with all of them arguing over who will inherit Eren's titan. You think that it's because they want the power, but what they actually want is to stop the other's from shortening their lives with it. Because this season isn't from Eren's POV like all the others, most people don't consider what Eren himself is going through or how he feels and simply take him at face value like they're used to doing. I think it'd be interesting if you gave us your theories or opinions on what you think is going on in Eren's head.

2023-10-23 06:23:18 +0000 UTCA bit of background info: Mikasa having the crest tattoo seems like it came out of nowhere for anime-only people, because S1 of the anime Isayama wasn't fully involved in, and due to the taboo surrounding tattoos (especially on children) they changed Mikasa's flashback scene to her being taught embroidery instead. Basically, Isayama had yet again planned this since the beginning.
