A fun lil project I've been working on, that I'm happy to finish in spite of all the power outages this week!! >:3
Medieval manuscripts are one of my favorite things ever, and I've been wanting to redraw parts from this bestiary since forever ago. Our idea of the natural world is always changing and it's both incredibly interesting and supremely silly to look back at our past understanding. So if you'd like to me do more passages, lemme know!
If you'd like the read the original bestiary for yourself, which you should, it's all online and the illustrations rule! You can view it here: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/bestiary/ms24/f1r
