Sorry for the delay on Patreon chapters. I've been busy with work, and I've been attempting to join the military so I can secure a better future for myself. I have, obviously, managed this. To say that some of the people in this world are monsters, is a bit of an understatement. At least, I think so. For example, Voldemort is a monster. This is an easy connection to make for me. The first person I recognized as a real monster, was in fact, Voldemort.

Most every notification I filter through turns out to be a lot of notifications for the fact that the people I removed were worth more XP than they should have logically been.
Even considering their relative fame and infamy, I think only Lucius made much sense for the XP value I was awarded. Still, it got me a grand total of one whole level.

Notably - this chapter is much shorter than normal, this is because enough important stuff happens fast enough that writing more (or more detail) doesn't seem like a good idea. In the weeks following my meeting with Dumbledore, I make a few attempts to find Nessie, and I find nothing - other than the fact that she must be based in some underground cavern at the base of the lake. Most likely, warded and hidden from Muggle sensors, which is fine. I also hear from Dumbledore that he has people watching the Department of Mysteries to make sure nothing gets in from Voldemort's side, in case he decides to abandon his trap.

In the weeks following my first classes, very little changed, in reality. Umbridge was obviously getting progressively more frustrated, not being able to figure who, or what, was messing with her. Every day I made sure to lay magical traps of extreme complexity to befuddle her. Going back to Hogwarts outside of the school year, in the middle of the night, does not feel odd to me. I don’t even use the Floo. I just apparate right outside of the wards, then Shadow-Jump, with my massive range, right into the Headmasters office. I will warn you this stuff gets far more dramatic and blatant. The undertones of the original are now explicit and the undertones are very subtle foreshadowing or very a way to get you to feel a certain way so the scene hits better. I hope you all like it...
