2023-09-08 11:33:55 +0000 UTCWhen Bert (and Reiner) got neck stabbed by Mikasa it was a shallow cut, he was bleeding out immensely but he was still perfectly physically fine, nothing some regen wouldn't just fix in a few seconds, no neck spine was cut or nape injured. Even Mikasa looked back on it later and admitted she hesitated/didn't commit as bad because of the "weakness" that they were her friends a day ago. *however* Levi got a clean cut through from point A to B and was confident that was a death, and him saying "a new power?" was minor confirmation this is different enough in some way to warrant calling it out since Levi doesn't miss and he knows more than anyone what's enough to kill a Titan. (also i hope you dont mind these comments i make, I'd never ruin the AoT experience for anyone. I *think* I'm good enough about spoilers and what is relevant now and in the long run when I add some context to ambiguous questions or scenarios they aren't harming your experience. There's always so much happening sometimes vague quotes or context that weren't meant to be something can bog someone down; but if im wrong just comment on this and i'll be even more careful or stop in general!)
