Yea I'm with you especially when just about every One Piece fan knows how to train most of the Rokushiki and how to train Observation and Armanent Haki. It's the same with info dumping like it's really annoying when he has information that could help the crew and just sits there in silence like his information on Crocodile would make planning that fight so much easier and safer which is what really annoys me he supposedly cares about his crew yet he has information that could make them safer and he's not sharing it. On top of that he could make Robin's intergration into the crew smoother if he talked about her history given that it's extremly similar to Nami even how they joined the crew is similar, to add to that Lucy's and her dreams coincide because Robin wants to find the Poneglyphs not for any greed of power but just for knowledge and closure and Lucy needs someone who can read the Poneglyphs because it's the only way to find the One Piece and Robin is the only acceptable person who can read them. I mean he could tell them all this and more to prepare them and he doesn't even need to explain how he got information if he doesn't want to as they know about his "magic" and would write it off as a side effect of that, even if I would prob tell them about have knowledge of an alternate timeline where Lucy was a guy just in case some of the info is wrong and just because Nami and Lucy have proved they can be trusted, so it is really stupid that he hasn't done this yet cuz like you said their overall power may be higher than the canon crew but it's all concentrated between Lucy and William, Nami may be strong enough to fight normal people and may even safe in the earlier parts of the grand line as long she doesn't directly challenge the main threats, but she'll be a burden soon if she doesn't get stronger and Robin and Vivi are the same they may be strong enough to hold their own now and Robin may even be strong to make it to the New World without being burden, but by then both she and Vivi will be the same as Nami they all need extra training to survive and not Lucy and William in danger trying to protect them and William can help with that and yet he's not with the multiple chances he had and it honestly pisses me off.

2026-02-07 11:34:26 +0000 UTCHonestly, this is one of those times the MC might just consider doing a little lore dump. Haki. Rokushiki. Crocodiles history and motivation. His activities in alabasta such as plants among both aides of the civil war. The other members of baroque works and their powers. Just blame magic. For all of the knowledge. Because without zoro, sanji, and usoop things are... sorta really critical. Nami got a big boost vs mini bosses with devils fruits via her new staff but is not sanji or zoro. Lucy is... stupid over powered for paradise even with her inexperience with her new fruit. Could honestly fight the entirety of alabasta and win. The mc is strong now but very inexperienced and barely exploring their new fruit. But the straw hats have so few bodies and Lucy can only be at 1 place at a time unless she masters the who "become the consciousness of a storm" thing she used to appear in front of mr. 5. The whole... group (because 3 with 2 temps a crew does not make) needs to go forward with solid goals and their eyes wide open if they want to live... except Lucy because she's stupid op now. I'd honestly be very upset if the MC doesn't come to the conclusion that everything is teetering on the edge of disaster and firmly not following canon and possibly no plot armor and just... let's things happen.
