Cat Breed Guide: Himalayan!

This week's breed was suggested by Lee?, who has a question mark in their name, I'm actually pretty confident that they asked for this. I love to draw a muppet creature such as this! A lot of the cats on google images did not have flat faces, which I think is good, but I do have to wonder how many of them are just domestic longhairs that people wanted to spice up a bit and lie a little online, as a treat.
I also read that people think these are domesticated from Pallas's Cats, which is not true, but something I bet your Himalayan would tell the other cats at school on the playground. And can you blame them? I wanna be a Pallas's Cat, too...

YES !!!!!!!! π©·π©· thank u so much :) I watched a Cats 101 episode about them when I was a kid, there was a girl who did cat comics about her cat Goma that was Himalayan and it was one of the things that got me into art !!! so glad u did these goofy babies (and I'm glad their faces and becoming convex)

2023-11-20 21:10:20 +0000 UTCI've only met maybe 2 of these fluffballs in my life and one was a mix that was so ferocious to strangers he thought he was a guard dog I guess! The other two were "no thoughts head empty but happy" (purring frequently) and the other was whiney baby that needed cuddles over every little injustice (including they saw a leaf fall onto the windowsill). Truly amazing cats but I hope they can be bred into better health π
