I believe short of magic involving a concept like a "true form" or "deciet" (as much as changing ones appearance can be decitful) that there's no way to know that Amara has changed her shape.

About the curses her family put on her, about wanting her back so they can sell her, and all the rest of the bullshit. Bonus points if, because of the rose Dick and Bruce still see Amara’s real face and not her disguise the full time while following her.
