Work in progress sketch for a commission for Rick2Tails[at]FA of his OC with Nicole Watterson from "The Amazing World Of Gumball" TV series (never did watch it myself, to be honest).
Tried to keep the blue felines toony aesthetic close to the source material, while adding my own style to it. Hope it looks good, it's always a challenge to reimagine these super cartoony characters with my more properly proportioned, anatomically correct and detailed style~

2024-06-22 11:03:36 +0000 UTCThe anathomy here was an "it is, what it is", because the source references have zero femine curves in them. Was considering sketching her up as "flat justice", but judging from the commissioners gallery, he does prefer them to be at least a C cup~ On a different topic, I don't like the fading line on the left side of the scan, might be an issue with the old lamp. Scheduled this one back in mid-may, will need to inspect if this is just a one-time issue, will it appear on newer scans also. My Canon MP210 is around 15 years old, might be time to get a new hardware soon.
