MGI 9 recording update:

Hey guys, here is a post from Jessica Threet (the co-owner of Actors Everywhere) about the current MGI 9 situation:

Us at Actors Everywhere would like to notify you all that both Marissa Parness and Daniel Wisniewski have decided to step away from the Monster Girl Island Series by Logan Jacobs. They were not comfortable with some of the material and have therefore decided it would be best to step back from the series. We do not judge or begrudge their decision by any means. Everyone comes from different paths of life, and we all have our triggers, thresholds, limits, and past things that influence the way we see things and the things we are comfortable with.

We stand by our authors and the stories they tell, and we do not judge them for anything they place in their books either. We will be looking forward to finding the perfect pair to take over the series and to resume our recording of it as soon as possible. Christopher Boucher will be taking over the role of the MC, and we are just scoping out who might be the best to take over for the secondary roles.

We hope that everyone understands and respects their decision on this matter as we do. Marissa Parness will be moving forward on her other series by the various authors we have relationships with here at Actors Everywhere. So you can look forward to hearing her on her other series coming very soon! Daniel Wisniewski also has some exciting projects coming up that will be keeping him from working with Actors Everywhere directly, but you will be seeing him with some familiar names coming up.

I'm going to be working with Chris and Jessica to figure out the best way to record the series moving forward, but the next recordings will probably be delayed a bit-- I'm guessing we should have 9 by April-- May at the latest.
