I want to explain the difference between the love of humans and the "love" of EZ'NOZ. Humans give each other affection and share their feelings. But EZ'NOZ doesn't do it like humans. Basically, they perceive emotions as weakness. It's in their nature. They do not share love, emotions, affection, and compassion. Still, some EZ'NOZ living in the poorer areas show appreciation. These EZ'NOZ are generally more empathetic, and it even happens that they help each other. But if pure-blooded EZ'NOZ saw this behavior, they would be punished immediately. The pure-blooded living in and around the palace have it the worst. Under no circumstances should they show conspicuous emotions; this is considered disobedient and disrespectful. Most pure-blooded who are in a relationship are only in a relationship because it offers power and strength, not for love. Of course, there are pure-blooded who have feelings for each other and are happy, but they don't show it to each other. Despite being raised this way, White learns to fit in and share his feelings with Red. He shows her the affection and love that humans have for each other. Despite this, it sometimes happens that he shows his natural dominance. He loves Red more than anything and would do anything to have her for himself. He would love to make her his wife ("chenk'na") immediately; that's what his EZ'NOZ brain wants. But he gives her time and wouldn't rush anything Red doesn't like.
Also, you must be wondering why Red hesitates to confess her love to White. Of course, she is shy and nervous at the moment, but also because she finds it difficult to share her feelings with anyone. She's been hurt and taken advantage of so many times in her life that sometimes she gets insecure. She loves White, no question about it, but she has difficulty saying those three words.
