Hey everyone, here's an Ayyla journal for you all! Sydney's finalie is on the way, kick me in the butt if I don't get it out this week. Trio Trouble is on the schedule, get hyped! Still going to work out how the release schedule will work out, TT has a particular method of showing growth and I'm going to continue it, though decide on how many pages a week it ought to be.

It’s a new year, everyone. I’m adding the text after the fact on this one, no reason to lug recording equipment around in the van this month. You’ll soon see why I’m buckled in for a long drive, Beatrice had a great idea and we’re headed an hour’s drive north to visit a ski resort that you all have seen before. The last time we were there was January four years ago.

Here you can see we’ve stopped; I appreciate how much mom has accommodated her daughters and I’m confident in saying I’m as safe back here as I would be on a bus. Even then, do your buses have seatbelts these days? I haven’t been inside one for years… Anyway I’m not in this van all that often these days, walking is pretty fast for me. Just to get some numbers out, I’m almost twelve feet tall. Yeah, grew an inch and a third this month. I also weigh about 2560 pounds, an increase of 80 pounds this month alone.

I’ll never stop being awed by the beauty of the mountains, coming out here is always a joy and I’m happy to be able to do it. I had mused last time about not being able to ski again, and that came true. I’m here as a spectator this time, my mother and I will just relax by the lodge and enjoy hot chocolate. …Or, try to. More on that in the next page. As for the chill though, I didn’t notice it. I’ve been warm, comfortably warm, for several winters now. A good pair of snow-resistant, waterproof socks in my size is all I need to go out in the snow, my heavy footsteps leaving more of an indent though, as you can see.

This is what I meant. It’s on me, of course. A small mental lapse as I managed to sit on the bench for a little while, enough to get a few mugs of hot chocolate before… Yeah. It’s just a bench, the staff were more concerned about any bruises but I assured them this heavy ass is perfect for cushioning falls. Still doesn’t make it any less embarrassing though… And from the look of it, my mother more or less knew I was too hopeful. I’m a big fucking girl. I need to be vigilant.

The trip was wonderful other than that slight hiccup though. I’m glad I can bring you a previous angle for comparison, this was the first ‘normal’ journal in a few months considering I shared the Rose Quartz team video with you guys last month, had Hayley as a special guest in November and did a Halloween journal before that. As I’m now too heavy for the chairlift by more than double the weight limit, Beatrice set out to get a few slopes in on her own while my mom and I watched. Things are going well otherwise, we want to paint my home in the spring and I’m happy to share that Daisy, Hayley and Roger have sorted out a small bit of drama. They’re all satisfied with how it went and Daisy learned a lot. It makes me happy to hear such good news, and with that I’ll sign off. Happy New Year everyone, cya!
