October 2028 | Hayley is having a Heart to Heart Page 1

“Things are going well, I’m happy everyone showed up.” Hayley and Daisy stand on the balcony of the former’s apartment as a Halloween bash continues inside. The pair were taking a moment to share a drink and take in a few breaths of fresh air. As Daisy stares off at the cars down below, Hayley pokes her best friend. “I’m headed back in, I’m pretty sure Claryssa might challenge your sister to an arm-wrestle again.”

Heading back in, Daisy feels her brow furrow as she suddenly shares something that has been on her mind. “Wait, Hay… I-I think …I like you.”

Turning as she leaves, Hayley is dismissive. “Sure Dee, I like you too. What are you saying that for?” Still taking steps toward the door, Hayley’s strong thighs strain against the Shadowheart costume she wore for the evening.

Before she reaches the kitchen, Hayley stops in her tracks when she realizes something is off. “Oh, what? Daisy… No fucking way. You mean…”

Daisy bites her lip and she nods, before shaking her head. “Yes, b-but not if you don’t feel the same! I mean…”

“Hey no, it’s okay. This… is a surprise. I want to understand, don’t feel like you’re in the wrong here. Have you liked me for a long time?”

“No… And that’s why I’m not sure how to explain what I’m thinking. I see you and my head feels funny. I know you and Roger are a couple, it’s killing me to think I’m going to ruin that by confiding in you…”

Taking a seat, Hayley assures Daisy she’s not going to abandon Roger. She similarly won’t abandon Daisy. The party continues in the other room as Hayley gleans more information about what Daisy was going through. After a half hour, Hayley and Daisy were both relaxed and feeling a lot better. “Have you been with girls before?” Hayley asks. Daisy shakes her head. “Have you been with… boys before?”

“Also… no.” Daisy says. Hayley and Daisy head back to the living room and promise to continue the discussion at a future time.
