Welcome, to the start of Hayley's comic! It's exactly what it looks like, these are pages that will be retroactively added to where they ought to be within the 'Growing Bigger With Ayyla' journal. You can expect about 8 of these weeks, intermixed with normal updates.

So next week will be a December 2027 Extra and the week after that, December 2027 Hayley.

A young woman walks down a side street into the shopping district of Watertown. With the end of winter comes budding trees, the potted plants that line the sidewalks show their first leaves of the season. A lavender colored sundress plays about the twenty-four-year old’s thighs as she walks.

Standing 5’4”, her name is Hayley Monet. An eyebrow rises as she scrolls through social media, taking note of an apparently local girl that stands two feet taller than herself. “I recognize that library. …What kind of a name is Ayyla?” Hayley’s interest in taller models stems from her own lack of height. It’s a sore spot she struggles with, being small and overlooked at times.

Hayley’s curiosity with the tall girl on the internet leads her through the usual rabbit holes of supplements and methods of changing one’s figure. Advertisements promising unreasonable gains, experimental trials of untested products are all abundant, no one likely ever purchases from these websites let alone clicks on a pop-up. Hayley does though, and one of these days she’s likely to try one of them out.

The shop owner, Joyce, notices Hayley and introduces herself. “Good afternoon sweetie, is there anything I can help you with?” 

“I’m all set… Actually wait, I don’t see my size in this section.” Hayley replies. Joyce takes one look over her short stature and her brow softens.

“Your best bet is a rack over here. We’ve got some tees meant for slimmer figures, I bet you could pull a navy one off nicely. Follow me and…” Joyce gives Hayley a few to try on, the number of ‘X’s that come before ‘small’ don’t give Hayley much of an issue, but it’s the availability of her size that makes it frustrating to be petite.
