I loved this one, guys. There are moments that seem mundane and normal, but that's in essence what the 'slice of life' genre is. I say normal, but there's plenty going on this release. Hayley's a fan of the tight fit this place provides, grounding her in her perspective that she is BIG. Text below!

Nearly two years after starting a lease with Claryssa, Hayley stands amid boxes as her boyfriend assists her in moving. “What about this lamp? I could grab some of my Dad’s tools and take it apart.” Hayley recalls what the place looked like when she first toured the studio. It felt roomier than it did now.

“No, it was here when we moved in. Too low to use, leave it behind with the counters we had installed.” Hayley and Roger had toured a place in the weeks prior, today being the move-in day. Keys in hand, they set out one last time.

Having to watch her head, the amazon follows Roger in as they make sure the place didn’t have any belongings left over. Still within the city, Hayley isn’t far from the street which hosts Emmanuel’s gym, Daisy’s workplace ‘Caffeinated Paradise’ or Hayley’s own workplace, ‘Club Mirror’. “I’ve got an assigned spot in a side lot, but there’s also guest parking in case we want to host friends.” Roger says.

As Hayley tests the water, Roger continues. “Carpeted, so we’ll tell guests to remove their shoes.” Hayley chips in as warm water begins to flow over her fingers.

“Heats up fast…” Roger looks over at his girlfriend and is reminded of a detail the landlord shared.

“Oh, that’s right! The landlord said we can have a dishwashing machine installed. I can wash what we use until then, since…bending over so much isn’t practical.” Hayley doesn’t reply.

Still exploring, Roger calls out from the bathroom to show Hayley the shower. Their bedroom floor had a teal carpet, not Hayley’s preferred color but interesting nonetheless. Hayley’s job as a bouncer and Roger’s entry level job with an accounting firm meant the couple would be doing well enough to get by, though big trips and expensive nights out would probably be off the table for a while.

Roger walked back into the living room and took a final look around. Though the pair had agreed on the apartment before, he was doing his best to read Hayley’s typical stoicism. “So, Hayley… This is our home now. It’s a bit tight for you, but-“

Two firm forearms suddenly drape around Roger’s chest and soft breasts meet the back of his neck. Barely able to look up before he feels a kiss planted atop his head, Hayley puts his worries at rest. “I love it, Roger. It’s everything I’d hoped for. I can’t wait to move in…together.”
