A Mountain Dollworm
Added 2022-01-04 17:56:53 +0000 UTCMountain Dollworms are odd creatures...They are members of the "Marianos Annelida" Species, however their size and sheer strength are an anomaly within the species. Most dollworms tend to have their "Dolls" be roughly in the shape and size of a human being. This has always been believed to be due to their preferences for human beings as prey. However the Mountain Dollworm has a "Doll" that stands much taller than an average human. Some have been measured at 12 feet tall!
The curious aspect of this evolutionary development is that it does not cast the same uncanny appearance as other dollworms within the species. These "Dolls" are easy to spot as they are far too tall to be confused for an average human, even at great distances.
Among this size and "Doll" difference, it is also worth not that Mountain Dollworms have the ability to easily bore their ways through entire mountain ranges in a matter of days. Their armored chitin, sharp teeth, and acidic black saliva is far more potent than any other dollworm Ive ever seen.
