Interviewer: In closing, please address a message to the visitors of the "Big Berserk Exhibition".

Miura: Those who have kindly been reading "Berserk” since the old days are my companions who have lived through the same era (as me). I've been thankful (to them) for a long time. Please continue to support (the manga) from now on. And for those who left for a while and came back using this opportunity, I want to say "Berserk has continued unchanged since then. Welcome back." For young people who newly got interested in it, excuse me but I want to say that "the manga of the 80s are also awesome!" *laughs* Though "Berserk" is a work that started in 1989, I think it's like a tail that has continued to grow from the time I drew it as a manga of the 80s. Starting with this, I hope the things we were absorbed in (during that era) will reach out (to you) as well.

Interviewer: Thank you very much.

Recorded in November 2020

Image caption 1: One of his "doodles" done between his work sessions. A lot of ideas about transforming robots are drawn.

Image caption 2: From a doujinshi done in the past. A SF work different from "Berserk", the highlight is the depiction of the robot and of another world.
