Hakusensha is selling 17 reproductions of famous two-page spreads at the Great Berserk Exhibition. These are great and hopefully they will be available to purchase online eventually. However they are not full scale reproductions, and I thought it might be interesting to post a size comparison to help people see the difference.
The original pages Miura drew on are B4 JIS format, meaning 257 x 364 millimeters. For two-page spreads, he drew on B3 JIS paper (364 × 515 mm) which was then cut in half. The reproductions sold at the exhibition are A3 format (297 x 420 mm), which means the individual pages are in A4 (210 × 297 mm).
Essentially, the original pages are twice bigger than in Young Animal or in Dark Horse's deluxe edition. They are four times bigger than the standard volumes (B6 JIS).
By the way, you may be wondering where that 1:1 scale reproduction comes from in the picture. It was a bonus for the purchase of a new Berserk volume organized by the Circle K Sunkus chain of convenience stores in the late 2000s. A hundred copies were given to customers, probably through a lottery system.
