Preview - Phase04.4 - Gadget Hackwrench & Update

Hey all! It’s been a min, sorry bout that. Been super busy crunching away at the Hermione flick which is doing its best to break me. But as this preview for Phase04.4 shows, I’ve been keeping at it. She may be a bit of an unknown in this community, but I’ve wanted to do something with Gadget Hackwrench for a while. She was low key one of my toon crushes when I was a young pup.

I’ve been using these shorter animations as a safe way to test features going into Hermione. For instance, this upcoming release is the first rendered at TRUE 1080p. Let’s just say the final video is going to take a long ass time to render with all the gushy goodies I’m adding (fml). The preview vid above is low res thanks to the whole gfycat mess. The image preview is true 1080p.

Here’s the timeline for the Hermione release (Subject to change)

September 5th (Delayed till 9/12) – First animation preview (Base line to gauge final render times and length)
September 19th – Short preview clip with dialogue (Yes, she speaks! This is a first for OCBoon)
October 3rd – Film poster and early 4k wallpaper release along with image previews of the entire video.
November 7th – Release date (Estimated).

This may seem like a long time, but I assure you it’s a pretty aggressive timeline. There will still be smaller releases between now and then.
