Finished Shiny Shark plush

Like we said a month ago, we were waiting for the custom printed fabric to arrive in order to finish the Shiny Shark, the furry shark, plush.
And we finally received it just yesterday! It arrived exactly as we wanted, so we started patterning the swimsuit.

We were surprised of how fast and good it turned out. We only had to spend some extra time hand sewing the hemline. But with patience and stitches as regular as possible...

We're on the final stretch of our secret project. The deadline is soon, so it won't be long until we get back to our usual amount of WIPs and posts ^^ We're really excited with how it's turning out and we can't wait to be able to show it!

Apart from the secret project, we've kept working on Monmon, making the feet patterns. It's being difficult to get a good looking shape, but we will probably have something to show next week....

Poll results + little surprise!

After a week, the poll for the next patterns is officially over! We're surprised it got 165 votes.
And checking the results, there are two clear winners: coco and Ruby. It makes us really happy that two of our fave villagers won ;_; So they will be the rabbit villager expansion pack together with Raymond.

Pikachu plush WIP #2: Arms, feet, ears and tail

After our last post, we started patterning the arms and feet. The feet are very simple, just a small 2D piece. But we wanted the arms to look chubby but without being too separated from the body. Today we just want to tell you that yesterday wehad to say goodbye to Niebla. Niebla was our 5 years old bunny, he was like a son to us. He always had health issues but he recovered from all of them. But at the end of November, he got an abscess in his jaw. We brought him to the vet almost daily and he went through several surgeries, but every time he got more abscesses. We managed to control them for a while, but a few weeks ago...

Clodsire WIP 6: Big Clodsire test

Today we have what will be the last Clodsire WIP before finishing all the versions and posting the patterns. In the previous post we showed you the small size mochi test, and we saw that it worked perfectly just like with minky. It was actually more cuddly hehehe. So these past days we digitized and resized the patterns for the big one.

Clodsire WIP 5: Mochi test

After finishing the patterns and embroidery for the minky Clodsire, it was time to make the mochi test. Like we said, we want the pattern reward to be for both types of fabric and in two sizes: 20cm and 40-50cm. And our idea is to make the big one directly with mochi, so it will be super squishy.

Clodsire WIP 3: Color Blocking

We've kept working on our adorable Clodsire. This time, we've finally made the color blocking. It was quite difficult to design it and adapt the patterns. First, we wanted it to be machine sewn, not an applique. Second, we wanted the waves to be defined like the original design. First, since we already had the body, we started working on the tail. Again, it's a simple shape, but we wanted to make it as accurate as possible. And after 4 tests, we got one that we liked a lot!
