2024-11-06 23:33:39 +0000 UTCYou know all of your questions about the vampire family just caused me to reflect on the inherent queerness of any type of vampire family -- if it's done in a way that respects the genre. Vampires queer time, they queer all sorts of Life milestones, they queer history, and if they want any sort of long-term connection at all, they queer family. I think this is one reason the relationship between Louie, Lestat, and Claudia in Interview is so damn compelling.
