I had an iPad 2nd Gen, the one without the stupid black on the back but still had the 30 pin! I used that thing right up until 2017? I then gave it to my friend, as he broke his iPad and iPod and had nothing to do school work on. He still uses it for busting up some dank!

I got an ipad air that I still use to this day. Works fine. Im shocked it held up so well because I dropped it like 10 times ever since I got it .

Maaaan, this reminds me of my old iPad 2. I bought a new 16GB one shortly after they came out. Kept it and used the crap out of it until the Air came out, at which point I gave it to my dad. He then proceeded to use the crap out of it until I upgraded to my current 3rd gen 11" Pro and gave him my old Air, which eventually found its way over to my best friend after my dad got a newer iPad (and yes, my friend is continuing the time honored condition of using the crap out of my old iPads). That's not even the end of the story. The trusty iPad 2 is still seeing regular use in the garage as a dedicated music player. It sits out there 24/7 through frosty Midwest winters and balmy summers and never misses a beat. It even still holds a charge! It probably doesn't last long, but it's at least enough to get from one power outlet to the next.

Can't remember if it's in the main vid but have you ever used stuff from the Bose Quiet Comfort series? I don't personally like them because they give that weird pressure feeling some ANC stuff has and sound kind of sterile or brittle to me but my dad swears by the wired QC25s and everyone else seems to hold them up as the best comfort example. QC35s are bluetooth and have a reasonably similar frequency response with a little more sub bass

We have a lowly 2nd gen at the college I teach at that has also lived a life and is now used as the remote for our Yamaha LS9 mixing desk. Brilliant for setting up band mixes in the pit, student in the band are always wowed when I tell them they can adjust their headphone mix during the show. JUST DONT TOUCH THE MAIN MIX!!! Ha ha!

Right now using some Skull Candy Venues, but the bass is a bit heavy, and they fit a little too snug on my melon head. I work at a radio station, and our studio headphones are AKG K240s that I love the sound of. So I’m looking for something with that sort of profile without breaking the bank. Any suggestions?

Regarding your ponder in the Beats vid on wireless headphones... I got the Drop THX Pandas and it sounds incredible over BT. Planar drivers and a built in THX DAC/Amp. They have some quality issues (mine has a slight buzz over BT in the left ear cup) and I'm working on an RMA, but they sound great.

I actually watched this video (and commented this comment) on my iPad 4. I would say that it's the earliest iPad that is still usable day to day. I just have it in my room, just in case I want to watch a film or something in bed and need a larger screen than my iPhone. It's getting pretty slow these days and iOS 10 is getting more unsupported by the day, just remember, the iPad 4 has the same processor as the iPhone 5! As always keep up the great work with the vids! (I'll keep an eye out for a green iPad 2/3/4 smart case 😉)
