Possible Shoes Format Update

Hey everyone, I wanted to hear your opinions on something I'm considering doing from now on. As you know currently I release Slider, Base Game & Decor versions of each heels I release and some boots & sandals when it makes sense to do so.

I recently learned how to elevate the sims altogether from Madlen and I'm considering adopting the same system as well. Those of you who played Sims 3 might know what I'm referring to but to explain better for those who did not play Sims 3:

Base Game Version: No matter what shoes are worn sim's height remains the same. For example if they are 1.70cm, they will remain 1.70cm despite wearing sandals or platform boots. I prefer this version for my regular gameplay.

Slider Version: Sim's feet goes below ground level based on heels height since it can't go up and custom heels sliders are needed to elevate the sim. For example if your sim is 1.70cm, they will be 1.80 with addition to below ground level. I prefer this look for photos as I don't like how Base Game version looks in most cases compared to Slider Version and this makes more sense however it is not convenient for gameplay because then your sims might float when barefoot. 

Elevated Version: If your sim's height is 1.70, they will become 1.80 above ground with the Slider Version mesh but will be fully base game compatible. If your sim switches to another outfit their height will revert back to 1.70 just like in real life. This system makes the most sense for me and I believe it is the best of both worlds. 

Here is a side by side comparison of the Dripping Crystal sandals I released last month. As you can see the Base Game version is scaled down to fit the feet part & Slider Version is more elongated and realistic. I prefer the slider look however I don't think it is practical to use for gameplay. 

I hope I could explain it as clearly as I could. I tried Madlen's packages and the results looked very promising so I am considering switching to this system as I believe this makes much more sense.

I am considering only doing elevated versions from now on as they have the same mesh look as the slider version and are fully base game compatible & decor for your sims closets. This and what I do currently is pretty much the same for me creation wise but sometimes certain shoes 

So to summarize:

Upsides to Elevation: 

+ Shoes looking better while not needing sliders

+ More realistic

+ Less files in CAS

+ Lower file sizes

Downsides to Elevation:

- It might create minor misalignments with animations 

Based on this poll's results I might of a massive heels overhaul and rework them to elevate the sims as well but first I want to hear your thoughts & preferences since you guys play a big part in deciding how I do things. So please let me know if you are as warm as I am towards this overhaul and your opinions. It will take some time for me to get through all my releases but I'm very optimistic about this system moving forward. ❤️
