My great aunt was born in the 30s she watched Roosevelt after he died go back home to Georgia on the train come thro her home town in nc she would talk about the world fairs how crazy they were my family went to those everyone that was in america she would tell me when i was a kid that it was the most craziest thing she had ever seen like it was the future she would say things to me like oh we had those or that back in the day that we had back in the early 2000s
