I wanted to emphasize a lot on Reiji in these pages bc its the image that's stuck in Shinki's mind now. It's all hes able to think about. I'm glad the pain is glaring on their faces and Im pretty proud overall of how all the pages came out!

2022-11-24 06:41:19 +0000 UTCI don’t think I’ll get over how well the darkness and the shadows help to emphasize the pain and the unknown. It’s really brilliant. And the pain in Shinki and Gaara’s faces is so potent. I feel it when I see the image of Reiji. It’s hard to believe he’ll pull through looking so worn and out like that. 😢
