I finally decided on a theme for this year's Drawing of The Month! I'm incorporating a mix of things into each piece, but they're all inspired by Alphonse Mucha art nouveau-style paintings, with imagery from the Zodiacs (either Western or Chinese, depending on what I felt worked best for each piece). I also include each month's birthstone and birth flower! For January, I've gone with Aquarius the water bearer, with garnet gems and carnations.

I'll be sure to keep y'all posted about ARAR's schedule moving forward. My partner and I are very anxious to get our house ready for the market by October, so we're in crunch mode trying to get things done. Meaning less and less time for me to hunker on the couch for hours drawing on my iPad, which means no ARAR pages get done.
