E Major Appassionato (improvisation no171)
Added 2018-12-15 07:59:31 +0000 UTCMade a few improvisations tonight, and wanted to share this one with you guys. It uses a lot of arpeggios in the left hand, and octaves in the right. The harmony twists and turns, but it finds its way back to E in the end. This improvisation was sped up from the original performance, but it is remains unedited outside of that.
I was having an issue with the pedal data in the midi. It simply isn't holding the pedal down in many places where I used pedal. That is why this recording here on patreon was recorded by "line in" from my keyboard to my mixer, to my mixer to my computer. This recording process was much like how I did things prior to 2016. Unfortunately I won't be able to use a VST for this composition unless I can figure out what is causing that pedal data issue on the midi. Either way, I hope you enjoy :)
