I've been working on my Calliope
Added 2020-02-10 02:29:04 +0000 UTCIf you have not been listening to my podcast, you might not know I got a Ringling Brothers wagon to use as storage, and a calliope. You see I've wanted one since I learned that there was a soda fountain in Queens NYC that had one that they played for birthdays.
A calliope is sort of a cross between a player piano and a pipe organ. I've spent the last three days fixing up what was wrong with this one, and here it is for it's test run.
I'll have a lot more about this in next weeks podcast.

This takes me back to the merry-go-round at the Wattsburg fair(Erie County, PA) when I was a kid. Sounds amazing!
